Nice review… i love these new model kits, they’re so different from the ones when I was a kid. I just finished putting mine together and will repaint to give it a better finish.
I wanted a Voltron action figure since I was a kid but never had one. As a grown up I’ve been searching for one. I’ve seen lots of models to choose from but, they’re all expensive. I saw this Moderoid model version on the TF Source website when I purchased another Moderoid version of a robot that I loved since childhood, The Tetsujin 28 or as we know him here in the States, Iron Man 28. So, I took a look at the Voltron Lion Force and I thought about buying it. After seeing your video, I’m happy that I’ve made the purchase. This Voltron is going to look great with the Tetsujin 28 & my Mazinger robots that are in the same scale but those are die cast models. Thank you for the review.
@AshtonsNerdCave yes! Thank you. I didn't know this existed. I mostly collect Transformers, but have been looking for a decently priced Voltron. This will be perfect and I love model kits.
Mine was new direct from Japan and it snapped at the hip joint a week later. Thankfully I fixed it I have another one on the way. And another guy on RUclips had his snap at the waist.
@@christisrisen6774 Oh dang! Well mine has been okay so far, and I don't really plan on moving it from where I have it. Did Good Smile replace yours or did you have to buy it?
@@AshtonsNerdCave i just bought another one. I'm going to customize this new one with a steel rod inside the hip area. I already tested it out with the older model and it fits perfectly. Didn't you mention yours snapped too somewhere?
I love this freaking guy. Nerd on my brother.
I'm a Voltron fan and that's awesome because of the price and display factor.
@@juancarire7899 It displays very well!

@@krymson_reigns Thanks for the kind words! This is only the second model I've ever put together, but I thoroughly enjoy them!

@@davecardoza4762 I'm glad you enjoyed the review! And I'm glad you finally your Voltron. It's a great one!
Just got mine today. Like you, I wanted one since I was a kid but never had one. Today I’m a super happy man! Hope you enjoy it too!
Buying this right now! Thanks!
@@Chucs_Padida Awesome! I'm glad I helped someone decide! It really is a good looking figure and super fun to put together.

@@christisrisen6774 Oh, that's cool. Mine is fine, so far!
RIP Jack Angel
are you the kind of perfectionist that painted the lion legs with chrome paint so it would be much nicer?
like what i did?
@@ronnelperez1161 I'm not at all. Mainly because I'm terrible at that kind of stuff and it would not have looked good at all!
