600 - 800 chicks for small scale beginners, 1000 - 1800 for medium scale beginners and 2000- 3000 for large scale beginners. This way you will gain transferrable knowledge gained to scale up properly to any prefered scale: Small 1000-1500, Medium 2000 -3000 and Large over 4000

My experience is that chlorinated or treated water sometimes still has active disinfectant that kills the vaccine. Hence, rain or borehole water seems appropriate
It occasionally happens. We always try to minimise it but when it happens, we hope for the best...that there is no disease outbreak. Also herd immunity protects them

You can't over vaccinate. Mix it in about 10l of water. And give the birds only the volume they need. And properly discard the rest
