Here’s the problem if you want make trade a star your going to need to pair draft picks and 1-2 of these young guys you can only keep kuminga and trace and maybe one other in a best case scenario and you need to trade Wiggins or paul and that might not move the needle enough

Payton injured too much, trade all assets for a big 611 and up. Get a couple stars, not neccessary superstars, but solid consistent scorers. Teams need to win! It's a money game!

I don't see much changing other than CP3 being waived and hopefully Klay re-signing on a discounted team-friendly deal for 2 season to align with Steph and Dray. JK, TJP and Podz should all continue improving and have even bigger roles next season, but hopefully Kerr finally trusts Moody enough to take Klay's starting spot permanently. Although inconsistency and injuries played a role, Wiggs and GP2 can still play big/impactful minutes and Loon still has value as Trace's backup and mentor, while the rest of the roster can be filled using the cash saved from Klay's new deal and waiving CP3. As always if the Dubs had limited turnovers (Steph had 6 alone against Sacramento) they would've won more of the frustratingly close losses and been amongst the top seeds, so massive changes aren't required and I'll be surprised if Lacob doesn't keep the dynasty going. It's not over yet and go Dubs!

D... the Warriors need to improve on defense, not get rid of your best defender and possibly second best defender when he gets his head together.. for offense. We dont need the Warriors to be the 2000 Phoenix Suns, guess what? Those Suns never even sniffed the NBA finals. They didnt win those titles because of offensive Phoenix suns style during their dynasty years. Thats why the Warriors have been struggling. Klay isnt 2018 version of himself, he doesnt defend and his offense is declining. If anything, Klay (via sign and trade) and Wiggins for some elite defenders is what they should be looking for. Kuminga should be option 2 for offense, not Klay.

Get kid of cp3 contract, wiggins contract for solid defence players and big men, if klay doesn't want 5-10 million per year, he can do a sign and trade and leave, kuminga deserves to be the second option beside Stephen curry and his numbers are going to even go higher next year. Kuminga also deserves the extension. Get a solid big and wing, and more pieces and we are good to go.
Mid-range Shooters please that's what would get the double teams off Steph somebody who can get a basket when the offense breaks down

Kuminga should learn how to fadeaway and spotup jumpers. Like what Livingston did years ago. Adding this to his arsenal would give additional threat from inside. And get a new big that can really impact on defense. Cut drymond, chris, and klay and some bench players thats need to be traded on the roster. To sign some players with heights like Markkanen and claxton.

A solid defensive minded center (doesn't need to be a serious outside threat) that can rebound...TDJ/Saric are great off the bench but they need a starting center.

The Warriors definitely need to get rid of Green. We can fill in the holes defensively and be competitive. Of all the games we lost they were very close L’s. I think Lauri Markkenan and Bobby Portis would be good fits. Might have to trade B. Podz with Green and Wiggs to sweeten the deal. Oh and Resign Klay!!

If I were Golden State, this is what I would do in the off-season in this order
1st Trade Looney & Wiggins both for draft picks to free up the salary cap
2nd, the draft comes before you can resign anyone. With that being said, my second off-season move, I will draft Bronney James.
#3 My 3rd off-season moves would be I would resign D. Saric to another 1 year deal. He had a nice year. Coach Kerr just threw his game off when he took him out of the rotation. Then I would apologize to Dwight Howard for not signing him last year and signing him for a 1 year deal.
4th by this time you would have worked things out behind closed doors and after my 4th move opts out his contract with the Lakers due to him losing to Denver for a 2nd year in a row I would sign LeBron James to the Roster to come play with his son, Curry and his best friend D Greene .
5th Then, after clearing up money by trading Wiggins & Looney before the draft, and only signing Dwight Howard & D. Saric to 1 year deals and bringing in LeBron, the team will have leverage to resign both Chris Paul & Klay Thomas. All the moves that would have happened before the team offered Klay & Chris Paul a contract, they both then will take less money. I will bring Klay off the bench with Chris Paul like they did this year.

This loss was for Steph, he's well liked by his teammates and he wants to win an Olympic gold medal, given the year Golden State had it's unlikely they would have won another championship especially the way the games being called regarding Golden State. Next year if they suffer the same fate we could see the retirement of the big three for the Warriors!
Honestly cp3 helped the second unit out a ton id bring him back and I’d let okay take a smaller role of the bench since he Isn’t that player he is n have the young guys start, trade Wiggins get a big and we good, if you look at the stats we really weren’t a bad team this year if green wouldn’t have got suspended and cp3 with his injury, we would’ve won a lot more games we found our chemistry after the Allstar break,
the warriors need a sharpshooter that's it. the team was rounding into form at the end of the season. if klay had been up to snuff it would have been a different year (not sure they would have won the chip but the would have been in the mix). A sharp shooter ala jordan poole would have made a huge difference . tjd was a beautiful surprise and so was podzemski (for some reason he stopped shooting the three).
also Kerr pulled some bonehead moves. This was a deep team and in some weird moments he stopped going deep and started playing 8 man rotation.

i would. draymond is more of a distraction than a actual asset. sure he can pass and defend but he causes soo much drama and gets suspended that realistically u can find someone who can do it better while being younger. wiggins is just not the guy...he is nowhere near a allstar and i dont think he cares. klay is gonna have to take a lot less money and be a vet on the bench. the warriors arent shit if they dont have a offense. they used to be the best in offense and defense but they are becoming shit at both. sure the turnovers and fouls were always there but they had the offense to make up for those mistakes. they dont have that no more

Why bother, they not gonna do anything to get a big or any defensive minded player and get a great bench.
Klay may get a better offer than our insultingly low offer (see Armistead). I'm afraid we're stuck with Green and Wiggins. No other team will touch the bloated contracts of these headcases. Obviously, Paul is waived.

Perfect offseason: Klay resigns for 13 million a year for 2 years plus PO. Warriors trade Moody, CP3, Wiggins and Looney for Brandon Ingram, an off the bench discount CP3 like guard, and a center with size to rotate with TJD who can run the floor, set screens, rebound and score around the rim.
Warriors then get lucky get a high draft pick with their like 7% odds and draft a high ceiling guard to develop rotationally in big leagues and heavy minutes in Santa Cruz like Podz, Poole, JK, Moody and everyone else Warriors drafted who learned the system from that combination of big league and development league minutes in Santa Cruz.
Warriors start next year with healthy squad of Curry/Ingram/JK/Dray/TJD
With Pod/Klay/GP2/New tall Center/New Rookie/Quinones/and some ring chasers coming off the bench they’d finally have the size to not get beat up by big teams while still having roster versatility and intelligence to go small too. Their starting lineup would be a nightmare for opposing defenses and offenses. Having Ingram in there really allows them to switch or play a zone easily. Warriors easily make a Title run. They’d be deep with shooters, Savy vets, a hungry and talented rookie developing in the wings for when Klay retires.

I think Klay and Draymond are nothing more than spoiled multimillionaires trying to suck as much as they can out of their last contracts and then sail off into the sunset with their bags. They know their contracts will be guaranteed and may not care how well they do.

The key is to keep klay on the bench as a 6th man . A lineup of Steph Moody Kuminga Dray Markkanen can cause some serious problems. I would love to have Markkanen at Small forward or Power forward but that would mean no Draymond

blasphemous that any Warriors fans should trade Draymond Green and thats the perfect scenario. He's the complimentary piece that makes Steph a superstar. 32-20 with him, 14-16 without him. All you need to know. Funny how the Warriors are 5-0 without Klay is never spoken about but because he's a fan favorite, Dray has got to go. Give me a break. You want a title? You need Dray to compliment Steph. Steph needs Dray more than he needs Klay in the team. He doesnt give you the stats, but he gives you the intangibles that made the Warriors a winner. Its tough to take anyone seriously who wants to get rid of Green. All Green needs to do is get reigned in and stay out of trouble.
Don’t resign Klay…he is arrogant and inconsistent. If you watched the last game and watch games last season and the season they won and he was M.I.A. When Steph really needed him. Since Draymond loves Lebron so much send him to the Lakers. He’s a firecracker and the Warriors will gamble by keeping him. As far as CP3 I think he wasn’t trying to take over the game or team so he only took shots when he had no one to pass the ball to.

I'd say trade dray, wiggs, chris, and klay, get in return get people of the following caliber sza za, bogut, and a couple of shooter.
Dray has been a big liability, thanks to him we lost one of our chips to lebron, he basically got rid of kd, and ruined JP eye socket to the point where he hasn't been the same player.
Lately, klay and wiggs have a way of not showing up when needed the most.
One of the major problem is how these players get paid. You put the carrot in front of the horse, now behind him. What i mean by that if you want to pay a player, offer him a few million with the stipulation that if they win the chip they will get 20 million as a bonus or something down that line. Now that type of incentive would put an extra jump in their step.

Klay is now just a role player, he may get some stretches of scorings but if you have not noticed, he scores 20+ in one game and the next three games he's nowhere. Did he not score 30+ in their last regular game against Utah prior to tha "win-or-go-home-play-in" and then suddenly laid 10 eggs. That loss to the Pelicans prior was huge and could have been a factor of them entering the play-off instead.
DG give so much unnecessary attention that often result in ejection and suspension. He can be replaced by a true big ALTHOUGH him gone will alter the game of SC30.
Wiggs can be traded, too much "personal" distraction.
CP3. The likes of SteveNash, KarlMalone, JohnStockton, ReggieMiller, CharlesBarkley to name a few, are very good players but never had any rings when they retired. Nash even moved to the Lakers in his last year(?) of playing for obvious reason. So this will be where CP3 belong in his career. The moment they decided to keep him, I already doubted GS will make any success. No, he is not a jinx.
The team should give more minutes to the others, especially Moods. Loon, no matter what people will say, have always been good and effective although his height limits him against true centers.
