"It's war on the streets and a war in the Middle East. Instead of war on poverty/ They got a war on drugs so the police can bother me." As true now as it was 30 years ago. I've got a problem with wars against things that can't be defeated. It makes me think the war isn't a war on drugs, but a forever war against specific sets of people. Just like the war on terror. Still, to this day, nobody can tell me how drugs get defeated or how terror gets defeated. It's all one step forward, 2 steps back.

Spot on mate. 2pac , prevalent now more than ever as you said.
Most of the drugs that come into the western world are being supplied by the higher powers. They love making examples of the middle men.
Same as the war on terror. That’s how a small group of people keep control over the majority, through Fear.
How do we defeat it ? How can we when one of the worst drugs is legal drink.
Terrorism is repugnant to any society, the definition only serves purpose to divide us because it’s allowed to happen.

Perhaps if this man and his crew took on board the issues you have raised over a period of time things can improve. If you have never had much it is very tempting to have the life you can only dream of.
Double figures for drugs but 4_6 years for manslaughter and sex offences.
Please keep up the good podcasts.

Read your history before saying such things. Drugs, these types, were not made unlawful for nothing, having once been lawful.

@@dougaldouglas8842 It's important to acknowledge that the reasons behind the criminalization of drugs are complex and multifaceted. While some substances were indeed made illegal due to concerns over public safety, it's also worth considering the broader sociopolitical factors that influenced those decisions. The history of drug policy varies across countries and over time, and exploring those nuances can provide valuable insight into the ongoing discussions around drug legalization and regulation.

Crime hasn’t reduced, a minority of people don’t bother reporting crimes anymore because they are aware that there is a lack of resources within the police force.

Bruv , cut the bs , you aint no "voice through adversity" ... I doubt you know what that means to be honest , just be truthful , you like to glamourise violence and gangster lifestyles through music and sub cultures . The podcast would be better if you were just honest . You don't de stigmatise anything you glamorise it , big difference .
