At one point during the Hive’s arguing one of them yelled “GIVE HIM THE CAPE” or something which was interesting in context of what the creator said in the making of videos. He’s rebelling against the hive by not wearing it, it scares the humans, makes him more off-putting, which is the opposite of what he wants. He doesn’t want to be the same Shadow that the Hive’s propaganda portrays him as. So making him wear the cape would definitely be a major blow to him
I have a small theory regarding the beginning of The Friendly Shadow, this isn't my idea but it was from another user in the comment section, sadly I can't find them now. The theory stated the father may have been killed by the handymen and not the adult freak, looking at the injury done to the father, it perfectly matches those of the uglies that are killed. I personally agree with this and I'll give some ideas as to why the handymen killed the father. I think that when the adult freak came out of the sewer, the little girl gave the piece of cake to the adult freak which then took a bite of the cake, the father came in and saw the freak, then the handymen came in. Seeing that the father now knows that the freaks are real, they killed him before the father got to tell anyone else, they tried to do the same with the little girl but the adult freak stopped them, not without getting severely injured of course. That's just what I think may have happened during the conflict that we don't get to see in the film, another reason why I believe that the adult didn't kill the father is because of the was the freaks attack, its attacks are quite vicious with it tearing the friendly shadows arm apart and it is much more violent with the handymen. I highly doubt that the freak killed the father by just tapping him on the head. Or maybe it did kill the father, just not as violently as it did with the handymen, proving everything else above as false, idk that's just my idea of what happened at the beginning of the film. *Edit: I found the user who made the theory, here it is:* Theory by TOTALLY the FBI %100% FBI : I think the handymen killed the father and then the “Freak” attacked the handymen, given the differences between the man’s body and the handymen’s bodies. Also, the way the man seems to have been killed. If you remember one of the other films, they are killed by being knocked on the head and fall into a pit. The screaming was probably from the little girl after the handyman killed her father, and then the freak killed the handyman. Two more come to the scene and damage it, but the freak kills them. The freak retreats and shadow is sent to find the girl.
I think Autodale is different, Im probably wrong but everything is automatic in Autodale, because its AUTOdale. While the kid from "dont feed the freaks" was raised in Town, it seems that there was a revolution(i probably spelt that wrong) because there was Matrix or Matriack i forgot what the big lady leader is called, was on the ground and seemed defeated, probably that was the place where The Freaks started appearing, the dissobeying (my grammar sucks) citizen were put out of the endless loop, and maybe because in Town everything was less automatic? In Autodale I think The Friendly Shadow will make a revolution or destroy Autodale, BUT THE "there wont be any revolution" BY THE CREATOR RUINED ALL MY THEORIES, but remember this is just a theory, a film theory
