You didn’t think the 790 could tackle those windrows?! 😂. No fun when you’re sitting on your hands waiting for a custom guy to show up. A lot more work and stress but always pays to have your own equipment. Those 230s are a good unit!
Yeah lol my uncle tried a end row that was not even close to as tall and almost plugged the chopper 😅 but I agree. The FP230 would be able to chop that triticale just one row at a time tho! But definitely was a lot of tonnage!
@@leuenbergerdairy6038 yes the 230 should be able to handle that stuff. Triticale and Rye both chop hard so it’s a struggle no matter what unit a guy is using
Sure does but we will take it. Need all the feed we can get! And yeah wish it would of fit in the bag but that’s alright! Still made some great feed in the pile

feed adds up fast when its that thick to bad you had to put some in a pile another bag would have been nice
