Hellvan Frost Anthony left Smosh in 2016 because a company bought smosh in 2011 Anthony thought of an idea and the company denied and told him to do something he would not like to act and he made a video about it on his channel called Anthony Padilla (sorry if I spelt his surname wrong I can’t remember how to spell it)
mechadoggy and now all Anthony does is best interviewer ever, feels like he grown into his own before this all started. Love Anthony too but Ian is and always will be the comedic backbone of Smosh.

@@nuonbo2760 it's the name of a restaurant. well it used to be, back when they existed I believe. They call them "Hardee's" also. I guess they only have gross ones where they're from. So the joke is that they are a gross restaurant. I stopped supporting there when they got rid of my jalapeno poppers . I hope this information helped you. I used to work there as the guy who unloaded the truck and did nothing else because I don't want to be involved with food. Mine was on a turnpike plaza everything was very clean so the joke didn't land with me either. This has been "over explanation of jokes" for today, tune in next week when I try and figure out why people play Battle Royale games.

Nah, Damien played a much more convincing and less boring annoying person here than Shayne ever did for Jordan.
To me, Shayne’s better at playing annoying/cringy characters in Try Not To Laugh (or at least as a supporting character that the video doesn’t constantly focus on). I didn’t like his Jordan Schwartz character that much. His performance as Jordan is either just really cringy without much humor to it or not convincing/believable to me in that moment.
That’s why I feel like the Try Not To Laugh format works better for Shayne doing annoying characters because Shayne doesn’t need to have us suspend our disbelief for too long.
Plus, the longer plot format in videos that focus a lot on the Annoying Kid has the drawback of being funny in the initial punch of the cringe, but then the cringe just lingers constantly without that humor being as constant too. It’s like biting into dark chocolate if the sweetness lasts for a moment before the sweetness runs out whole you’re left with this constant lingering aftertaste of bitterness.
