When you went to events did you charge for the snow cones or did the venue give you a certain amount to serve snow cones.
Hey Mala, we charged for snow cones and donated 50 cents from each snow cone sold back to the venue. If a venue wanted to hire our equipment and make the money themself, then we would offer a hire package price.

Hey Fabiano, it depends whether you're using snow cone concentrate or natural colors and flavors. With the natural snow cone syrups we use, the biggest ingredients are filtered water, cane sugar, and different natural flavors depending on what the flavor of snow cone syrup is we're making.
Any problems with Health Dept, pertaining to ice shaver not being NSF certified?
hey! We've never had any problems with this. When we submitted our plans to local council NSF certification was not something that ever came up.
Can you have a snow cone stand if your a kid (11 years old)
You sure can Hayley. It'd be wise to ask your parents for help though, as they will need to help you sell the snow cones out at events on weekends and drive you there with the equipment :)
can u setup a stand without a liscence
Hey Kayode, there are a number of different licenses to take into account (food license, health and safety license, local council registration, etc).
Most are not required for a snow cone stand business, however there are still specific requirements your stand needs to meet and specific types of insurances you should get to protect yourself and your business.
