I think this is Montego Glover of the 2009-2010 original cast. When I seen this performance I was shouting with the cast with my company of friends lol. And the cast at the end of the show greeted us with warm kindness. This is an amazing show if you haven't seen it. And the energy and storyline is absolutely spectacular!!! This song gets me everytime I hear it on my spotify.
Can somebody explain me if Huey’s mom is in this church and if in this particular scene is she already convinced that black people are no different than white ones?? Or is she just praying to God for strength in her house? Please I don’t understand that🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My school is doing this for our show and I play the momma. I can confirm that she does not believe whites and blacks are equal yet at this point in the musical.
