From Thun to Berne on a rubber dinghy

You will hardly find any river that is more popular for bathing during the summer than the Aare river on its 27 kilometer (18 miles) long way from Thun to Berne. Join our jolly boat trip and get am impression of how swimming in the Aare is like.

Indeed! Don't miss to go swimming in the Aare river if you come here. Although the water comes from the glaciers in the mountains, the temperature easily gets to over 20° in the summer.

Hi Klaudia, It's every year and every day when the weather is nice. Just bring your own dinghy, get from Berne to Thun by Train. In Thun you have about one kilometer of foot walk downstream the river until you reach the big parking space that you see in the beginning of this clip. Inflate your dinghy, get into the water and have fun. Also, you might like to check out the app "Aare Guru" for checking the current water temperature of the Aare. On hot summer days, the water temperature can get up to 22 degrees and more! Feel free to contact me if you need any further tips :-)
