For building crazy cars the only thing you always do rong is the paint. Always the same boring paint. Black ore white ore Gray
Only thing I'm not sold on is the rear bumper and that insane diffusor. I personnally would've liked a bumper lower to the ground, more in line with the rest of the body kit and a wider, less pronounced diffusor, but other than that it looks absolutely awesome! Can't wait to see tghe finished result!
I was really hoping the rear bumper would look better painted. Big ol NOPE on that one

@@BigDaddySoup69 I completely agree, I was hoping it would grow on me but it just sticks out too much! It really just throws the whole build off! I wish they would have gotten a different one to match the front. But thats how that kit comes as a whole and they prob dont want to miss match parts especially since it represents the Spoon company.
@@MrErk1110the rectangular vents in the back are early 2000’s cringe. I really hope they listen to the comments on here and remove that bumper asap.

It’s definitely rough on the eyes lol but the insides and the work that has been done to it is PURE GOLD. Definitely the winner is lucky to have this build.

Seems a lot of people don’t like the rear bumper. I haven’t seen it painted yet, but I’m not fully sold on it either EDIT: yeahhhhhhh not a fan of the bumper painted. If it wasn’t silver it would be better, but I also despise silver. Or once it’s lower it might be better
Yea for me it’s less about the bumper and more about the color
Its the diffuser for me, i kinda like the bumper, if it had a diffuser that complimented it and not just a put on diffuser that looks like its floating in the middle of it.
@@Akosa117 it just doesn’t work in silver. It sticks out from the rest of the build too much. Like I get it’s the aero bumper and it’s got an aero element technically but it just. Doesn’t. Work.

Real safe colour with the silver. A yellow similar to Spoon would of made this pop.
Championship white would have been 👌 but the silver still pops
This spoon kit is definitely like a delicacy. Some people love it and some are like hell no.
The front Bumper is amazing but the rear is 🤢
The take I get from this kit, is that you are getting bragging rights at saying that the owner has spoon parts.

I can appreciate your thought process and trying to do something different.... Buuuut that kit is HIT!... It reminds me of an 70 year getting plastic surgery trying to look 24 again.... It's just off and not it! I am still enjoying the videos, the effort, and trying to step out of the box! So please don't take this as shit talking, just wanted to give you my honest opinion.

I would wait for the end result bro I’ve seen the same comment on some other builds and have been proven wrong if throtl has shown us anything it’s that they’re meticulous and motivated to put something amazing on the road.

That car is gonna look pretty rad when it's finished. I really like the Spoon form for effect style, always have. The rear bumper is very much designed as a performance piece rather than looks with the high cut for diffuser placement and the twin reliefs for reduced wheel drag.
-I'm willing to bet that this specific build will feel rock solid at speed with the reduced air pressure in each wheel well, promotes less drag and more downforce and consistancy. Rock on Throtl!!! 🤘
I still remember back in 2010 when I walked from buying an S2000 for a steal of a price... Regret is all that comes to mind now. Excited to see how this build turns out!

I really like the spoon bodykit. It is maybe not as revined as stock or the other body kits. A bit more bulky. But it makes you look longer.
How long does a scup of dry ice last? For example were they available to do all the floor mats with one scup of dry ice?
My god those bumpers are hideous. At some point going gungho on super JDM parts isn’t that appealing. Other than that, nice build.

ill say this, im not a fan of the back bumper by itself, in fact this is the very first time ive ever seen you guys make a questionable design choice that i was like uhhhhhhh but ive watched this channel long enough to know that you guys know what you're doing, and you have great taste and that when the whole thing is done this car will be dope af and somehow that bumper will be one of the defining elements of the build that bring it all together.. so i say have at it and go hard like yall always do and i cant wait to see the end result. thank you for all that you do.
