Man that was a cool car, cool owner, and a cool host! I may have over simplified a bit there but great video, it was very eye opening to see the longevity of those old motors if you take care of them. Over 200k miles and it looks and drives like butter!
Heck Yeah! Sweet ride man. I also agree that Stu is killing it! His videos are some of the best car reviews on youtube! The tunes, filming and enthusiasm is on point!
So fantastic, what a build! I love that talented, tasteful people make it sound so easy to get this look. Hard work and perseverance is paramount I think.
*You and your videos, remind me a whole lot of, Matt Farah and his One Takes. Love the positive energy/attitude that you always have in your videos..makes them so enjoyable to watch.*
Totally agree, William and Comrade. Stu's enthusiasm, energy, and attitude makes his videos much more enjoyable to watch. Additionally, Stu puts a lot more effort into his video's, in my opinion, than Matt's tired format. I cannot wait to see Stu up there. I think 2018 is going to be his year. He deserves it.
*I could totally see Stu's channel grow exponentially, after Matt airs his final One-Take video. The One-Take series is very very popular, and I can imagine that the audience that watches those videos, will try and find something to replace the absence of them and will stumble upon this channel.*
Yup! I also like that he splices in the imagery of the things he's talking about, whether it be parts of the interior or exterior of the car, to even showing pictures or website pages to the mods that his guests list off. It's a subtle thing that requires more work in editing and shows how much he cares about putting out a complete video. Comrade, I had no idea Matt had put an end date on his One-Takes? When is that supposed to happen?
Thanks Robert! That means a lot! I give each video my all. These cars are soooo good, I try as hard as I can to do them justice! Really glad you enjoy the channel, thanks for the support brotha! Happy new year!!
Breath of fresh air with this build......glad to see this guy grow up from stance a do a proper build instead of all this "hipster neon Tire sticker RWB crap"..........
AWD in 1989, when it came out in these cars, was a gifted tech advance derived from the game changing 959 car. How one equates an AWD Porsche to some sort of handicap in design is like saying ball point pens are nice, anyone can use them but the real pen is ink and quill. The purists dogged the 964 from it's inception... but neither did the conventional masses of the time appreciate Bach either.
Wheelie Cool Videos guards red. Really clean car overall. Keep an eye on my IG account. @roadriven Should be taking delivery off a truck on Thursday or Friday. Definitely a dream car of mine since I was about 7 years old.
Love it. I just got a 964 about 100k. I want do some minor change to the interior and suspension nothing to the motor. Can give me Some tips on where to start. I love your car.
I would suggest getting in contact with a Porsche club. You may be best of getting an engine rebuild as that can ensure that there is nothing lurking in there. Suspension will probably give you the biggest bang for buck on the car it can change the characteristics of your car from a stiff track car to a floating boat on the road.
I'm in loooooooooooove... What a car.. A car that were meant to be driven.. Love the interior.. And,stu.. Waitin' for more air cooled porsche review ^_^
Awesome vid bro - reckon you should just make this an air cooled Porsche channel ;p! Better than matt farahs vids cause we get to see the car in action as well as the on ride stuff! Would love to know more about the owners, what they do, how they maintain them / and fund there addictions - owner of a 964 cab / f355 gts here!
Thanks for another great comment! I love all cars, primarily euro but I do like american and JDM stuff as well. I'm down to feature any cool car or build on the channel. I'd also like to review a few trucks, like a new raptor as I have some good off roading by me.
C4's should have two switches behind the stick shift, one switch for the rear wing and the other one for the AWD difflock system ... this one has only one switch like a C2 ... and one more thing, the AWD system in a C4 disconnects after 30 MPH and switches to rear wheel drive only so u cant say that the car is very steady on turns and gives u confidence :P
Hey Ibrahim: Very true: C4s should have two dials behind the stick shift. The 964 in the video only has one, like a C2. Maybe Aaron changed the center console as part of his rebuild. Not sure which manual function he would want to eliminate. But,... C4s have dedicated, full-time mechanical AWD with 31% front drive and 69% rear drive. The center dial locks the front and rear drive (traction control) from 0-30mph. After 30mph, it unlocks automatically and reverts back to 31/69% front/rear drive. The traction control locking is designed to help C4s at low speeds in snow and mud. Maybe Aaron never used the 'traction control' dial and decided to eliminate it from the center console. I've never used mine and probably wouldn't miss it, if the dial was gone. Very cool car and rebuild!!!
Michael Moser thanks for the AWD explanation i thought the whole system becomes 2WD after 30 mph ... i bought a C4 from the Japanese auction and expected to arrive on the 15th of Nov .. cant wait
Hey Ibrahim: Great news! Depending on where you are, you'll find the C4 may give you a bit of piece of mind with traction, knowing it's full AWD. What color? What year? Planning on many mods? Mine's a 1990 with 95k miles. I put a single mass flywheel/clutch, all new engine seals, new Bilstein shocks, new brake discs/pads. Thinking of top rebuild to 3.8 in a couple of years. Great car to drive and look at! www.adrianstreather.com/docs/PDAS%20Technical%20overviewR2.pdf
Michael Moser mine is 1990 with 60k miles .. not sure about the color cuz i didnt see it in person its either a dark grey or a very dark blue.. i have other drivers cars youcan see them in my insta page Astonography i have a bmw 2002 and an M5 v10 in manual which is rare and cool too
Michael Moser i live in dubai i wouldnt need the C4 awd system honestly thats why i thought of getting a C2 in the future but lets wait for the car to arrive first and see
I definitely envy you all in California. The car culture is so vast and so much to appreciate. I saw your video of Rudy's 993 that was great. May I suggest *cough* Hoonigan's 965 *cough* haha
Gotta say I'm not sure why that question was even asked because this question is much simpler- Are air cooled Porsches any good? The answer will always be yes. No liquid cooling system= great.

amazing right? folks are scared to put miles on their cars today though ..everthing is about resale.

You know what really ties a great car together? A fantastic owner. Hats off to this guy!
That is the sickest 964 Ive seen! Aside from AMMO’s one!
Aaron! My G! Aaron always killing the game.... those BBS E88s are stunner on that Nardo Grey! Great video!
I'm glad this flat gray color is so popular now. It just looks great on everything.
*You and your videos, remind me a whole lot of, Matt Farah and his One Takes. Love the positive energy/attitude that you always have in your videos..makes them so enjoyable to watch.*
Nothing against Matt, but I prefer Stu's enthusiasm and style in his vids a lot more.

Chris C As an added bonus, I also like the music that Stu adds to his videos haha

God dam thats one sick ride.
I've seen this 964 on many different videos. It's definitely my favorite build all of 964s out there. RWB included.
Another gorgeous 964 - love these cars!
Stu! The man. Much better then the smoking tire! Better camera angles, better exhaust note! Keep em coming
Thanks Robert! That means a lot! I give each video my all. These cars are soooo good, I try as hard as I can to do them justice! Really glad you enjoy the channel, thanks for the support brotha! Happy new year!!
the total package is superb!! color ,stance ,wheels and interior 👍💪😉 and it is one of the nicest and purest 911 models (964)
The C4 is actually even better than the C2, besides the weight.
You captured some great exhaust sound!!!
Awesome review and car! Shows you Porsche know how to build a solid car back then
Beautiful car!!! Love the e88's..perfect build
Great video Stu. Keep the Porsche content coming!

This cat spared no expense. Excellent. What a hooptie...89-94? Did he ever mention the year?
Wow, awesome build!
That is a beautiful build. Great video as well!
Absolutely Stunning.
Track prepped build is unique to keep the stock as built motor with 227k on it!!
I know, I was shocked too. Driving it you'd never know. Felt the same as a the low mile 993 C4S I reviewed last year. Thanks for the comment!
Excellent video.. I absolutely love the Dr. Dre beat.. Lol.. I'm still waiting for u to buy a Porsche.. Keep up the good work!!!

I definitely envy you all in California. The car culture is so vast and so much to appreciate. I saw your video of Rudy's 993 that was great. May I suggest *cough* Hoonigan's 965 *cough* haha
What shifter did you put on it?
227,000 miles on the factory motor and no rebuild? That’s reassuring.
