Bro you deserve all the best. I wish I could be with you and we could train together in this style because I really love it, But i can't come to America and keep going In this ❤❤
Hello madhooker. I have been watching your content and started applying some of the peakaboo techniques and other techniques you show. I do Muay Thai/kickboxing so would you say that this style is still applicable considering the fact that kicks and clinch are involved in kickboxing/muay thai? Also, when I practice the peakaboo style, should I only rely on this type of head movement for defense? Should I mix up defenses like parrying or elbow blocking or will it hinder that peakaboo style?
Muay Thai is a different beast. You have to focus on keeping your head up more than boxing. Use limited skips and weave and apply more catches, parry’s and blocks more.
I have a very similar style, double jabs, double hooks, but I alternate the closed guard with cross guard (because I have a very large chest to cover) perhaps I should move a little more my head, instead of parry
@madhookersboxingmartialarts yes but I parry much not because works better but because I find it funnier 🤭slip and duck definitely is a better strategy. Well, it works until i do sparring with welterweights, but with heavyweights like me, parry is too risky. considering that I don't use head protection the most of the times, cause it messes me up breathing and periferic vision
Best boxing content in youtube
