    Excellent video. I’ve been here and this hospital is fantastic.

    Thank you, that's impressive and likely the best. Would you now please do a tour of what is considered a "regular" panamanian hospital, such as the Santo Tomás, where regular people go? Pretty please?? ...with associated costs. Thank you.

      I'll add it to the list of videos to do - when there is room in the budget. Keep in mind, we pay a lot of $ to hire a videographer to travel to these locations to do these videos and do the editing. Even though the videos are free for you, it cost us $$ to produce.

    This looks like boutique service. What do the rooms for average patients look like? Or do they go to other hospitals?

      it is a very large private hospital. I don't have pricing for other private hospitals. a public hospital is $10 a night for a shared room.

    so these room prices are in addition to the actual medical and/or surgical procedure for which you are going into the hospital, correct? seems as if that is the case, but want to confirm.

    Very nice hospital, it's very similar to a small hospital in the State but with a big different in cost from the US. Is this different than Panama Clinic?

    • @juanluiscarbonepicard-ami5379
      @juanluiscarbonepicard-ami5379 Год назад

      Yes it’s different although close by.
      This one is affiliated to Johns Hopkins (Maryland), it’s the top #1 hospital in Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean by far.
      There’s also a new branch located in Towncenter Costa del Este, just opened up a year ago, fully equipped as well.

      It _is_ costly, by Panamanian standards, but it's roughly 1/4 of what you'd pay for the same in the USA. But, with most insurance, you would only pay about 1/5 of what he quoted. I'm hoping they do a tour of something like a Santo Tomás Hospital next, as a point of reference, which is where regular everyday people go.

    • @dbbang1
      @dbbang1 Год назад +2

      It's costly by my retirement fixed budget. And who knows if I would qualify for health insurance in Panama ( pre-existing conditions).
      The hospital is gorgeous and very impressive but like others have stated here, how about showing us a more reasonable hospital.
