so I have a 2001 660r and im having trouble tuning them because I've heard and have seen so many different adjustments for it, how many turns have you set yours to so I have an idea of how to adjust them
Matt Soles-Mummery i have no idea. your adjusting the tension in your chain. so you tighten till your chain is to the correct tension. then just make sure your axle is straight
Not bad at all!! I really like the notches on top to keep it lined up. Thanks for watching (sorry it took me so long to reply back. Im usually pretty quick about that)
Ok I have an 05 and the tensioners are seized bad I dunno what to do ive out a torch to it ive done everything I can think of and the bolts are just seized bad I've already broke 2 chains riding it because of how loose it is and had it spit a few off the sprocket I heard I'll have to but something drill them out but I've never done anything like that any ideas I really don't want to replace the axel...
I agree they are hard to see in this video. Doesn't help that it was shot in 420p (Now im shooting in 1080P) But the line is just left of where the bolt is on the right hand side. You may have better luck scratching your fingernail. If you still cant find it I'll do a video response for you. pic worth a 1000 words a video worth a million. Thanks for watching hope this helps
So Im pretty sure the previous owner took the parking brake off. You shouldn't have to remove it but if you do you can just let it hang to the side while your tightening the chain. Then just reinstall it.
yep it should be about the same. usually the limited editions are different body( plastic) parts some have better suspension but the chain and stuff should be exactly the same. good luck thanks for watching
Still don’t understand how you tightened the chain
Mine is so loose, this gave me a better idea of what to do
Excellent video. Great advice. Thank you so much
Awesome glad I could help thanks for watching

Did you remove your parking brake and if you did what did you do with the electrical part that connects to the parking brake

@@2LateIWon Thank you but the reason I'm asking because I want to upgrade my clutch lever so it involves removing the parking brake
