Let's all take a moment to appreciate what Sam has actually done. He's achieved something that not even a lottery win would enable because he's built up the contacts over the last 5 years to be offered the experiences he has had and shared with us. The vast majority of us will never get close to even driving one of these cars. 👍 For Drive the World part 2!
Very true,as no matter how richer or more popular with subsbribers other youtubers are, none of them can say they've done a "Drive The World" Tour! So that's a big notch on your belt,to be proud of,Sam.
I’ve worked for his Dad Michael. Has an insane car collection at one of his homes in the Cotswolds. I think Phil was there doing helicopter lessons. Don’t think Phil does much apart from live the life of a billionaires son.
This is the car community that had somehow disappeared in the past few years. This is the breath of Fresh air we always needed. This man has single-handedly created so much awesome content that most big firms fail to create. if you take a moment and think that this was also the content mostly created by the community's support. Nothing brings me more satisfaction than seeing this man's effort and how he brought so much joy to our eyes. I would much rather give my money to the second Drivetheworld campaign than any other premium channel so that this man can take his car around in flights instead of the ferry. Much love Sam, keep creating these beautiful memories. And who's with me to say that the next one should be in his Ferrari???
@@seenthroughglass This is what we actually need during these times when we are all stuck together. This is more than a breath of fresh air that we needed. makes me want to drive and appreciate these local places as soon as this is over...
Drive the world in a Ferrari would basically be a round the world tour of every Ferrari repair shop in on route as well as a review show for tow services :D Now, a rallye widebody conversion on an Urus with a ski box... You could call it drive around Uranus.
@@seenthroughglass no doubt the new content will be great, I'm excited to see new mods on 360. :) And I didn't mean just this 4 part movie, but the whole Drive the world last year, it was an amazing idea and it was executed perfectly.
I’m sorry, I’m going to have to stop watching this vid 40 seconds in....because watching this on my small screen iPhone in bed does not do it justice. I will wait till tomorrow when I wake up to put it on the big screen. 👌
Undoubtedly some of the best content on RUclips, full stop. The quality has been amazing since the early days of your channel, but you keep breaking expectations and go way above what is imaginable. Thank you so much for the great content, it bring so much joy to so many people around the world. Cheers from Tokyo!
You say you are not adventurous yet you take a year out to drive the world... I would say that's a significant adventure in itself. Epic journey, really enjoyed watching these.
In terms of car content, this series stands alone, Sam. No one comes even remotely close. In fact, when you consider the astronomical budget that Amazon provides Clarkson with, I’d say your production, editing, and overall story is better. Bravo to you and Viki. I’m looking forward to the South America DTW.
Ive said it once, and I'll say it again. One of the most underrated channels in the automotive RUclips space. The passion this man has for cars and travel something, however going out there and completing a task like Drive The World just blows my mind. All that while carrying a camera and a smile to bring us content is something that should be rewarded. Thank you Sam. :)
I am from Barcelona, I did Los Angeles to NYC in 2014, a roadtrip that I will never forget. It was incredible. 7000 kms in a pair of weeks with a Mustang.
Thanks for doing these Sam. Great recap of that amazing year and a well appreciated timeout from Corona. Lovely editing and so many cool memories! Also shoutout to Vicky, who really is a natural on camera 💯 #StaySafe everybody :D
Absolutely loved this entire series! I really hope a podcast/video of the finances behind it and how much it'd be without sponsors. I'm sure a lot of us are adding something like this to our bucket list so it'd be super insightful for Behind The Glass content at the very least!
As many have already said, Phil is a great bloke, a nutter, and a legend, but most of all, he is real. His use of those cars appears to be completely without worry when driving them. I really like that about him, and his laugh. Thanks Sam for introducing the world to Phil.
Even though I've watched the majority of Drive The World, these after movies are so cool! The enthusiasm is obvious from the way you narrate the story. I'm a long time STG viewer and this is just proof of your constant progress in the automotive RUclips world! All the best and thank you for this amazing content, much needed when at home! Cheers from Zagreb, Croatia
Sam, congratulations on one of the most amazing collections of videos. A complete story that puts even TG and GT to shame. Make a full movie of this, include as much behind the scenes stuff as possible, and a new narration with more Vicky. Then put it on a Blu-ray and chuck it at us! I'll buy it. More!
What a scenic place North America is! This has definitely spurred some good imaginations on what a near-perfect around the world road trip truly feels like, and to immerse oneself in the petrolhead culture anywhere and everywhere. Onto part two!
This final instalment was superb. Undeniably the most engaging & flawlessly produced content Sam has published on STG to date! Inspiring and authentic unlike so many click bait wrap videos in the RUclips scene at the moment. Bravo, the stuff of dreams.
Me and my wife, sister and mum did the journey...from Glendale to Miami....over 3 weeks mind you. When we handed the hire car back in Miami, the guys were shocked that we drove that far. Got to see Dallas,New Orleans,Palm springs,El Paso,Grand canyon,Las vegas.....it was amazing.
They do say that you feel the most alive when you're on the brink of death... Sam's passenger drive in the off-road Porsche seemed to validate that idea! The Senna drive around Laguna Seca wa quite relaxing by comparison!!
The whole DTW series was absolutely amazing Sam. In all honesty the amount and quality of the content has been outstanding, and to do all this on the budget you guys had... absolutely mind boggling. This has made STG the absolute stand out of the youtube crop of content creators. Different, fun, interesting, not to mention getting a good glimpse of car culture around the world, it simply has no rival in this space. I'm looking forward to a South America tour, and please don't hold back on the travel vlog side. South America is incredibly rich in culture, amazing places to visit, history and geography. You are going to fall in love!
Once again an amazing video Sam! Thanks for your hard work and reminding us of the incredible activities you allowed us to follow! I’m definitely going to check again the videos with Phil! 🤩
I’ve absolutely loved watching the #drivetheworld videos Sam, I wish there were more of them! Can’t wait to see what the future brings once some sort of normality returns!
It was such a pleasure being able to follow you along your incredible adventure last year. Again, tremendously worthy of more viewership, but just know the ones you have love every minute of content. Thanks Sam.
Your honesty and feet on the ground approach make your content so much appealing than others in the genre and it's an inspiration to see you both getting outside the norm and exploring and giving ourselves the insight into what amazing car culture there is around the World. The commentary was a great insight into what is a very well judged retrospective film series. Well done to both of you!
It was amazing to follow drive the world as it happened, and it was fantastic to relive all the great memories from your epic trip. Thank you for the opportunity to follow this wonderful journey.
Here we are then, at the end I guess. Thank you Sam for this amazing series. Drive the World has a special place in my heart and I enjoyed every single video of yours!
Now that you've kindly introduced the beautifully posh Viki, will you both be comfortable to have Viki more involved in your future weekly vlogs, with her genuine input,as Viki has a dry sense of humour that i love and also the hilarious way of putting you Sam,back in your place,at times,is pure brilliance! So i have no doubt, when and where able, having you two together, would be very well received.... Looking forward to it! Also a bit sad that the Behind The World series is done already,as it was a great upload....
Great content, music and first class editing. A real pleasure to watch and it entertained me far more than many other big budget car related TV shows. Nicely done !
This is the best automotive content on RUclips right now, its so personal and I love how invested I felt in this series. You took such a leap of faith Sam and it turned out so god damn well. Cheers from Canada bud.
Gutted that this was the last instalment of the drive the world movie, enjoyed watching your travels over last year and these 4 episodes, looked amazing, great to finally see Vicky on the channel, you 2 have made some special memories there that you can both cherish forever, congrats on such good content Sam, I genuinely can’t think of any other car you tube videos that I have enjoyed and anticipated each video as much, can’t wait for more great content.

I followed Drive the World the whole way along and SERIOUSLY enjoyed this "wrap up" series during this time! I live less than an hour from The Stradman just North of Salt Lake City and caught you guys driving through one of the days! Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
So I did it. 4 for the night. An epic series. Should do more of this touring car culture life with Vicky, the chats with her adds a nice some kind of personal flavour. 1st and 2nd were much better then 3 and 4 but overall - really good stuff!
Great series Sam. Congratulations and thank you for helping keep me entertained over lockdown. Hope maybe meet you again at Mille Miglia next year.. Have a great Sunday 👍
Epic! You and Vicki simply smashed it bravo! Stay safe and we are looking forward to new adventures soon! Having worked/traveled extensively in Central and South America it might be best to travel by air to events as traveling by car between countries and even inside several countries is dangerous. Clearly their are short safe established routes inside some of the more developed nations but on the whole something to really not underestimate especially with Vicki.
That weekend in Montreal was the worst horrible fall weather we’ve had in a long time. It’s usually not that bad!!! It’s a shame you weren’t here two weeks later when we had our first snow storm!
Loved every second of this series. So well presented, masterfully edited, music on point and just such a feel-good vibe to it. You deserve all the recognition you get, and you don't deserve the recognition you don't get. Can't wait for more! :)
12k miles! You really saw America (in style) I live in Florida, and I like to take a flight to somewhere in the center of the US, rent a car, and travel across several states, seeing the sights. So far we have covered 35 of the lower 48 states. It's quite an adventure.
Such a shame to hear this is the last part of the series. At least we have the opportunity to go over the original vlogs. Thanks to the both of you for the entertainment you create. Regards from Catalonia

This Phil guy is a legend. He drives his cars how they are meant to be driven!
