    Thank you much! I could not get to get the boot to load before watching your video. Very important to have the USB boot drive sequenced prior to the Windows.

    Thanks, very informative video. I didn't need to do all that though. I was able to go back into Windows 10 successfully after installing Centos7 on my Acer laptop...no problems whatsoever. I'm able to choose which operating system I want after pressing f12 during bootup.

    This works great for me. I have to substitute some step instead of PowerSIO I used Rufus. But the grub modification is great. Actually this is the only that works for me in few days. I would like to recommend to get rid of the background music will help the narration better.

    I shrank my drive and provided some unallocated space, but there a no disks showing up under the installation destination. Note: I figured this out, the Linux partition needed a specific volume label and the Intel rapid setting needed to be disabled which also disables RAID which won't work with RHEL.

  • @ThOperator
    @ThOperator 5 лет назад

    On the last Win10 and Centos 7 1810 you don't need any special treatment anymore.
    1. It works with Secure Boot
    2. As shown in video Centos 7 detects free disk space and installs there.
    3. At next start you will have 3 options.. 2 Centos and 1 Windows boot
    So it all works as it did once back in the days.
    Anyway thanks for the video and helping people.
