There's a missing one. At some point, after the 2002 rebrand, someone at Border thought it might be nice to put the "Hearts era" theme to the ITV1 Border generic ident! I've seen it and it's surprising how well the two go together!
I vividly remember the regional ident from the early 1990s. It was LWT where I was and I never knew until recently that it was the same sequence in every region, with the slight change in the lettering at the end.

I wonder why Border lost its logo in the 1999 generic idents. All the other regions kept theirs.

Probably is. Border transmitted through the South Scotland area.
this seems to be the itv generic indents rathercthan those actually showing border tv
Makes you wonder why they bothered; 1:30 shows Saltdean Lido in East Sussex, almost as far from the Border region as you can get!

Does anybody know what the Border logo was supposed to represent? Never got it.
I think it's meant to be the two sides of the border merging as one.
The top right represents southern Scotland, the botton light represents Cumbria and the left represents the Isle of Man I believe.
