UPDATE!! So apparently Disney loves to announce things as close to the end of the year as possible so....Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Hollywood Studios has been announced to be closed for good. Then in the Fall of 2024, a brand new show will debut at a newly refreshed Animation Courtyard Theatre inspired by the 1989 animated film called "The Little Mermaid- A Musical Adventure." The show is gonna be completely redesigned including the addition of Kiss The Girl plus many more favorites from the film.
Then beginning on January 8th, Rock N Roller Coaster will be closed for an extended refurbishment and it's not expected to reopen until summer 2024. It doesn't sound like it's going to be re-themed and instead are going to be addressing issues with the ride system (it has been still breaking down quite a bit this year since the refurbishment last year).
At Disneyland, Mickey's Mix Magic Will return from Jan 8-March 21st & April 15-25 while Wonderous Journeys plays a very limited run from March 22- April 14.

I'm hoping that Luca characters will somehow be added into the Pixar parade at some point. It doesn't have to be a person in a costume. They could just use animatronics of the sea monster boys jumping in and out of the water making it look like they're going from sea monster to human similar to how Dante goes from normal dog form to spirit form on the Coco float in Magic Happens parade
Luca is such a great film that it really deserves something in the parks
@@TPMvids as far as I can tell, there's not a single bit of Luca merchandise for sale in the Disneyland resort Park, not even in Pixar pier where they could easily put the characters face as decoration. They have turning red and soul characters represented on the ferris wheel but no Luca characters.
but I did manage to visit an artist who sits in the corner of the knick knack gift shop and by request they drew a picture of Luca from a reference binder and I asked for a specialized message to say "sea you in summer" next to it. I have it framed in my bedroom. So at least it's something

I still think for the finale song of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, all the bears should sing "Zip A Dee Doo Dah." I know Disney would never do that, but if they did, i would be in the audience crying happy tears 😭

I only wish that didn’t involve Splash Mountain being gutted in the process.

I hate the over use of grass on the mountain why does Disney use so much grass on the mountain. Grass mountain ;-;-
It would be nice to see Rogers return this year. It was a pretty good show and California Adventure really needed some more live entertainment during the hot summer months. I'm also excited to hear that the Peter Pan segment will be returning to Fantasmic when the show returns in 2024.
Always wished they redo Mickey's Phillharmagic and give it the Star Tours treatment, having different musical sequences to cycle through. I think it would really help that attraction.
Another thing that Disney could do to Phillharmagic is adding a few new songs. So far the only new addition was Un Poco Loco from Coco back in 2021, but why stop there? You could have Donald traveling through the worlds of Frozen, Moana, or Encanto, all the while listening to such hits as Into The Unknown, How Far I’ll Go, or We Don’t Talk About Bruno.
Phillhar magic is really a good attraction but it needs more songs

I wish they can get back to the Wall-E animatronic and try to make sure it doesn’t break down. I want Wall-E to be represented more in the Disney Parks.

Peter Pan grand return to Fantasmic is amazing! We just now wait for the 70th anniversary of Disneyland to determine which other classics are due for a surprise reunion!

Rogue one already has been on that ride subtract that one and solo!
I’d love to see a different A Bug’s Life show for Disney’s Animal Kingdom inside a different theater with live performers, live insects on display, the different bug characters from the movie, projections of footage from the movie along with new animation with different bug characters, special effects, animatronics, and costumed performers of some of the movie’s characters!
Thurl Ravenscroft, the voice of Buff the Bison, passed away in 2005, which means his character has to be recast with a new voice actor for the Country Bear Musical Jamboree. And Pete Renodet, who voiced Henry the Bear and Max the deer, has outgrown his voice because of his old age.
I really hope that both Turning Red and Elemental get more recognition at Disney World. Ik that Red is getting float, but I feel like thats not enough. Both r amazing films, I hust feel like instead of having more Zootropolis for example, they should focus in more on the newer films with similar popularity. Correct me if I'm wrong, but ik some ppl love Zootropolis but its not a very widely liked film, so I'm not sure y their putting in so much. Luca, Turning Red, Elemental, even something like Soul. Honesty a Red experience like the Monsters Inc one would just be so cool, I think that they could deffo get the technology to make one member of the audience look like a red panda, or even a 3D thing where it gives u the perspective of one of the girls going to a 4Town concert? I just like the idea of smth like that.

I can’t wait for Fantasmic to come back but I hope they don’t settle for a simple maleficent fight. I was hoping they would change it to like Chernabog but now that they said it’s maleficent I hope they step up to the challenge of making it as cool as murphy
I haven't been to Disney World in Florida since I was i think 10 years old, I remember stitch, great escape, and some other rides, but I am happy to see them keeping up with everything. TPM, I love your videos. Keep up with everything you can keep up the great work you do.

Really wish we would get a Murphy style animatronic here in Florida, cause I honestly prefer the Disneyland version than the one at Hollywood Studios. I mean the one here in Florida is just a head with fabric wings attached to the mountain

Tiana is awesome! She is a good character! I'm sure Bayou Adventure will be good. But I also love Brer Rabbit and his friends just as much as Tiana! I would rather have Splash Mountain

Tiana deserves to have just as many high quality animatronics as Splash Mountain and I’m happy to see it looks like they’re doing that. If it had all been screens, that would have been horrible. In order to follow up one of the greatest attractions, you need to meet and even exceed that same quality. And thank goodness they kept the track layout because it’s so smooth and thrilling. Perfect design. I’m excited!
Tiana didn't deserve anything but a restaurant. She's treated as the second coming of Christ and it makes me sick how much Disney pushes her out there.
Say what you want about Star Wars. Star Tours just gets better and better with more additional elements making it one of the best rides!
Hopefully when I return to Hollywood Studios, I get to see Ahsoka. She's absolutely my favorite character during the Clone Wars

I'm not sure if this happened already, but I hope they bring back Ian and Barley Lightfoot from 'Onward.' Their meet and greet was cut in short back in 2020 because of the pandemic. Plus, 'Onward' is such a great film! I'm also pumped for Tiana's Bayou Adventure!
I feel its possible they MAY be in the new Pixar parade but Im also hoping Luca makes an appearance too!

Looking at the test animation footage, it looks like the Mama Odie sequence is going to be right before the big drop! If you look at the nighttime rendering, you see the colored bottles in the trees right at the opening.
Yes, that's what I think as well, on the left where Bre'r Rabbit & Bre'r Fox were before you head up the lift hill. I even think the entire laughin' place scene might be Mamma Odie conjuring up her magic.
Wait they better not put mama odie to close to the water, in the place of brer fox’s lair.

Disney should keep the Splash Mountain name for some Splash Mountain rides, but with various different themes for the Splash Mountain rides!

They better not close DINOSAUR, since I never had a chance to ride it, and hopefully will still exist, despite the land around it closing. I hope that latter one is the case, and maybe the new paths would be made to the attraction while the land itself is being replaced. I love DINOSAUR ride, and it would be cool to still be open while the tropical land is constructed nearby.
By the way, dinosaurs are for everyone, not just Universal to distribute or keep (I'm sick of the claim that Universal owns dinosaurs, which is ridiculous since dinosaurs were real animals).

i don’t know if i can let go of country bear jamboree as it is currently 😭 as much as i adore a lot of Disney music, i feel like taking away the silly songs already present in the attraction takes away from the charm and originality it has, but of course, i wont know until it happens!
So excited to see Tiana’s Bayou ride! I will miss the old version but The Princess and the Frog theming does fit and I love the movie and the soundtrack is my favorite of all the Disney movies!

"Going Down the Bayou" is a better name than "Tiana's Bayou Adventure". It's a song in Princess and the Frog, and you are literally "going down" the bayou.
Also, those poor America Sings animatronics. This is the second time they've lost a home.

I have been thinking about this a lot and I hope as there doing construction on California's splash that they make it a side by side seats so the ride capacity is more per hour. I know it most likely won't happen caz of the wideness of the ride path but just a thought I have had for some years now.
I was hoping that the Tina ride would get some references from Splash Mountain with no racism. Including the remix of some of it's catchy songs.

I went to go see fantasmic in December of 2023 and you said that it will re open in may so in may is there the new stuff, or what is the difference?
I actually saw the Kylo red animatronic, not working in 2023 this year this summer when I was at Disney World, the Kylo, red and animatronic, and Star Wars was in bee mode
