Check out this first time watching horror reaction video for Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and see if I can make it as a horror TV show rookie. Horror is a genre I've barely explored, mostly because I'm a huge wuss. Typically my TV Show viewings consist of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Worst Witch. This year I decided to expand my TV show knowledge and try and watch these horror TV Show fan favourites.

Of course Anya is in the friend group!
I’ve always felt like this episode is an homage to the earlier seasons of the show and the high school itself. It’s has the OG hi jinx and dumb fun before the heavy stuff.
the guy Dawn Pushed down the stars is a canadien french actor Known in Quebec :P Yan England
If you get a fun light hearted episode it means bad things are coming very soon.
The music that plays when the women are being enchanted by RJ's jacket is the theme from A Summer Place (a 1959 film) is a nice callback to season 2's Inca Mummy Girl as it is one of the two things that it takes to impress Oz, the other being a feather boa!
Every time I hear this tune, I think of Stephen King's Rose Red.
This is the only real filler episode this season it seems like it comes out of no where just a somewhat comedic episode. 14:24 kind of cool to see Buffy kept the rocket launcher.
Cool reaction as always Jen, you take care and have a nice day and most of all, cheese and rice 🥰❤️😊
I love Him, always a sucker for Dawn eps and just a fun sexy romp
I think Him was a rehash of far superior Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered. Some obviously funny comedic moments, but series 7 could have done without this. I suppose one could gather the jealousy that exists among siblings as shown in the episode but overall one of the weaker episodes of the whole show. OK it obviously has its funny moments due to the nature of the episode, but a real filler that there was no need for. I think this one is best forgotten really. Rated very low of 144 from IMDB.
While I agree it’s not needed, I think that the show had become completely serialized by this point is why that is a problem at all.
In the earlier seasons the monster of the week format meant a lot of episodes were not needed and that was completely okay back then.
This episode should never have existed, but it's fun😅
Xander considers _Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered_ good memories. Ugh! So much for character growth on his part.
After everything he went through the one time every women loved him would be a fond memory. Why wouldn't it be?
@@ShieldVids Because the whole point of the episode was that he did something stupid. Remember it fondly means he learned nothing. The fact that Cordelia didn't even realize why he initially did the spell and got back together with him only helped fuel the whole thing as "good memories" for him. None of that even mentions the fact that the moment he was remembering wasn't actually a "good memory" part of the episode (although that is how he chooses to see it years later, which shows my point). It was him and Cordelia fighting for their lives against a mob, some of which were trying to kill him and the rest would have started when they realized he was defending Cordelia. And being a teenager at the time means nothing as an excuse if at twenty-two he shows he learned nothing from Giles disappointment during the episode or nearly getting killed by Drusilla etc.
@@Buffy8Fan again way worse things have happened to him after that. That would be a happy memory compared to everything else they have gone through.
@@ShieldVids And that's my point. If a happy mempry is something that he did that was wrong, and should have learned a lesson from instead of something like the opening scene of _Reptile Boy_ where they're watching a Hindu movie (Buffy claims this a good moment in her life, then it shows Xander's personality is the problem. Not just the mistakes he makes (like leaving Anya at the alter, cheating, or taking anger out on his friends) along the way.
@@Buffy8Fan The comment he made was not about what he did (he is not saying I enjoyed the chaos I created) which he knew was bad
He literally tells them in this episode right before that moment like he is reminding them of the dangers.
It was more about the reminding him of those simpler times. Which season 7 is all about.
I think it's the tonal dissonance that gets me most, the episode where buffy is r*ped by a student and dawn tries to end her life is somehow the silliest episode since the middle of season six, that's an odd choice
Buffy is not raped. She be the one in trouble.
Buffy was raped by the student? She was the adult and RJ didn't know about the spell, so that's like saying than in Teacher's Pet, the teacher was going to be raped by Xander...
That's not true, it's pretty clear RJ doesn't know his jacket is magical, it's actually Buffy who's breaking the law although under the influence.
