It seems thay most malaysians are very clueless about the damages an erupting volcano can do and immidiately relate it as the sign of the end of times. Completely different with majority of Indonesians who already very aware about what it can do especially after 2010 Merapi eruption and 2019 Krakatau sudden collapse.

The idea that people relate a single earthquake , volcano eruption or a hurricane to the sign of end time is ridiculous .
it's when they all happen simultaneously in ever increasing frequency and intensity is when people start to see them as signs of the end times .
FYI Bible prophecies have never failed and the future ones won;t fail .
One can always find reasons to refute this if one has already closed one's mind to this possibility .
Yet Indonesians still choose to live, not just near active volcanos, but right on top of them. Honestly, who is the clueless here?
@@kevinwebster7868 Settling right on top of volcano?? Which volcano you talked about?? From your statement its more than obvious that many malaysian never know that volcanoes gave a lot of benefits for humans settling around it despite its repeated tantrums when its still active. Some of the benefits are natural hot springs, beautiful sceneries, building materials, and also a naturally fertile soil perfect for agricultures. Its elevations also provide bigger options for people to plant cash crops that may not going to survive in if its planted in the tropical lowlands such as Tea, Strawberries, etc. Majority of Indonesian knows this very well. So tell me again, who is the clueless ones??
@@kevinwebster7868 If Indonesians are clueless, can you tell me why the most preserved candis/temples from ancient era that were discovered on the archipelago today are usually made from Andesite stones mined from the volcano?? Tell me again, why some ancient kingdoms on the archipelago wisely build some of their temples on a very close proximity with the place where hot springs appeard naturally on the earth surface?? Come on, tell me also why Italians since Roman era are happily plant oranges, grapes, and many agricultural plants on the slope of Vesuvius and Etna close to the mountaintop despite repeated destructions both volcanoes brought to the villages/cities nearby when they went into tantrums?? Tell me again why many Italians were never want to leave Naples after realised that the city since the Roman era were literally sat at the surface of an active caldera complex??
Mt Ruang sudah menjadi perhatian Malaysia sejak letusannya membawa dampak penutupan penerbang dari/ke Utara Kalimantan di seluruh bandaranya. Pihak berwenang Indonesia sudah membuat pernyataan sebelum ini bahwa Gunung Ruang mungkin akan terus meletus, dan ternyata benar.

Orders has been issued to evacuate the town nearby Tegalndang island which not only the closest town but also located facing directly with the volcano due to imminent Tsunami alert and possibility of pyroclastic clouds from the volcano can crossing the strait and demolish the town. No one can direcly view the volcano since the observation cameras nearby were also heavily damaged due to lapillis that can reach size of pingpong balls.
