I like Lunox because she does melt tankers but in some matches when none of ur team able to target the backline, who could? I had a game that nobody were able to get through the backliner, I'm also having a hard time to turn the table. Luckily the tank did a solo mistake which was a great oppurtunity for us. It's a win for us thanks to that player's mistake. Lunox truly hits like a truck but single target meanwhile Kagura hits like a train WITH the aoe. Honestly ruby dd combo is very devastating to the backline from mid to late game. The main difference between Kagura and Lunox is that Kagura could still escape after doing her combo. Lunox can't. Also, Lunox's light ult has longer cd which means you could do it less frequently. If Kagura is played like an assassin, Lunox is played like a marksman. Kagura: Pros: -Has good cc -Insane burst dmg -Better mobility with 2nd skill that lets her enter and escape teamfights easily. -Free purify and escape with 2nd skill -Could face check bushes with umbrella -Could join roamer for ganks or enter clashes as soon as she hits lvl 4 (power spike hits earlier than lunox) Cons: -Athena/Winter truncheon ruins her combo -MUST go for the backline -Falls off late game Lunox: Pros: -Melts tanks -Could solo lord -Light ult = free, better winter truncheon -Since she deals dmg to tanks and backlines really well, she has the option to melt the tank first or kill backlines first. -Deals insane dmg no matter what defense item is built Cons: -Less mobility -No cc -If light ult is cd, must be played defensively than usual or must be protected by tank. -Bad early game as she needs items before she could deal dmg *TL;DR:* Both could deal respectable dmg but they specialize on different things. Best way to learn any hard hero is to open a new account... Play classic there, never rank up. I learned Kagura with new account and she is really fun to use. Melting mage and mm are so fun
Lunox is pretty simple to use where Kagura, just like Gusion you need to learn and remember the skill combos. That's why I don't bother to play these 2 heroes.
Kagura feels easy for me because her s2 protects her from a lot. Her combos are quite easy once you do them enough. How can she be a difficult hero when she just needs to press 1 button to survive a eudora/selena combo (which is mostly a death sentence for most other mages). Lunox on the other hand is difficult for me. Very vulnerable to cc after light ult and need to have good positioning when using dark ult because of its low range.

In my opinion, Lunox is better because they use her more in pro scene. Her skillsets are more effective in tournaments. Like Pharsa, Yve, Valentina, Xavier including Lunox are tournament level mages.
If someone uses some particular hero in tourney that doesn't make that hero good compared to others ...in tourney even if they play non meta heroes that hero may seems like op cause they know how each hero skills work also they play with full pro team with good communication who always back up their team ...eg even Hilda was picked in tournament that doesn't ultimately make that hero op compared to others so ur statement is b.s
Kagura has built in low cooldown purify + flicker. She is such an unbalanced and unfair match up against cc-reliant, dashless mages. The only way I can get around kagura playing one of those mages is to not engage her first and wait for her to throw her umbrella away, and even that is 50/50 because she can re-teleport back to her umbrella before the cc lands 😅
I’ve been a lunox user long before her release, because I decided to main her the moment I saw her artworks, and everything said in the shorts is correct, especially the last part. I remember making kagura players rage because I would just outplay them. Sometimes when I watch other lunox players, they just get sweep by kagura.
@@Ddfgrsscv not really. I say they are both equal when it comes to one on one, and who wins depends on the users. Lunox can light ult kagura burst and then kagura will be open to be killed. Lunox can also go toe to toe vs kagura if both don’t use ults because of lunox s2. Kagura on the other can catch a lot of lunox players off guard because her burst is quicker. It is just up to the players play style and reaction time. I’ve never lost a full health battle vs a kagura because I always look out for her ult and keep lunox on one stack light while avoiding the slow and predictable umbrella

Both mages are difficult as heck to play, but they both specialize on being hard to be locked down/assassinated, and they both have more than just 3 or 4 skills, with Lunox having 5, and Kagura having 6. Against tanky opponents, as well as fighters and assassins who love to dive, Lunox shines. She can become tanky and invulnerable, or a skill spamming mage that ignores high health and magic resist. She plays more of a traditional mage. Against long ranged opponents, Kagura shines more. She can deal lots of AOE damage, apply both slow and stun, has multiple dashes, and can survive cc and burst thru her shield and cleansing skill. She plays as a control mage and an assassin at the same time. Both are very strong in 1v1 and in teamfights, with Lunox being stronger in 1v1 a bit more, while Kagura is stronger in teamfights.

Mmm it depends as they both excel in different areas, but consistency wise, Kagura would be the better choice as she is highly mobile, can cc immune and wipe out the backline. Lunox is good against tanky heroes, but since you already have an adc who their main job is to take the tanks out, it's a bit redundant.

I love both but I would choose lunox first even tho kagura can easily poke and escape. lunox however is too good to ignore, above all she's a tank killer and can be played on exp lane. Personally I have tried her on all roles except tank build. Her damage as hyper is insane. Can defend on exp lane quite easily. Faster item build on gold lane so her damage can be put up rather quick. Can solo mid even if it's 1v2. Though it's hard to actually get rid of enemy hyper, it is in fact very easy to kill their tank. thanks to lunox, I solo my way all the way to mythic lol
Bro i would say everything depends on team combo if u have someone who can destroy enemy backline then go lunox and kill then tanks but if u dont have someone to target backline go kagura cause kill enemy backline is more important than melting tanks, so its all about killing backline so depends on ur team picks.
I play mostly mages ( yve , kagura , lunox ) and the only mage I don't like facing in the midlane is Nana . She puts Molina just near my turret. And I can't even approach to clear the minion wave .When I try to move from the bush side I find the enemy tank waiting to ambush me
Mythic Immortal mage here with a full breakdown kagura is significantly better for following up on short cc skills like ruby and for dealing with deadly close rangers like lunox, lylia miya ect, if you need someone specific dead she’s your pick. Although kag is my main and favorite mage she’s really fallen off recently because of her painful mana and lane clear issues While Lunox is more endurance based and performs better with long cc skills like minotaur, she also outperforms kagura in prolonged teamfights fights because of her superior ult CD. She also rips appart fighters like yuzhong and cici which kagura generally struggles against

Best way to learn any hard hero is to open a new account... Play classic there, never rank up. I learned Kagura with new account and she is really fun to use. Melting mage and mm are so fun

Lunox is pretty simple to use where Kagura, just like Gusion you need to learn and remember the skill combos. That's why I don't bother to play these 2 heroes.
Kagura feels easy for me because her s2 protects her from a lot. Her combos are quite easy once you do them enough. How can she be a difficult hero when she just needs to press 1 button to survive a eudora/selena combo (which is mostly a death sentence for most other mages).
Lunox on the other hand is difficult for me. Very vulnerable to cc after light ult and need to have good positioning when using dark ult because of its low range.
@@AC_336 oh, if you mean offensive/defensive/positioning then yes, Lunox is trickier to use. What I mean is the skills where Lunox's is straightforward while Kagura's you need to remember the skill combos. Yes, I'm having a skill issue with Kagura.😆😆😅

In my opinion, Lunox is better because they use her more in pro scene. Her skillsets are more effective in tournaments. Like Pharsa, Yve, Valentina, Xavier including Lunox are tournament level mages.

Kagura has built in low cooldown purify + flicker. She is such an unbalanced and unfair match up against cc-reliant, dashless mages. The only way I can get around kagura playing one of those mages is to not engage her first and wait for her to throw her umbrella away, and even that is 50/50 because she can re-teleport back to her umbrella before the cc lands 😅

I’ve been a lunox user long before her release, because I decided to main her the moment I saw her artworks, and everything said in the shorts is correct, especially the last part. I remember making kagura players rage because I would just outplay them. Sometimes when I watch other lunox players, they just get sweep by kagura.

@@Ddfgrsscv not really. I say they are both equal when it comes to one on one, and who wins depends on the users. Lunox can light ult kagura burst and then kagura will be open to be killed. Lunox can also go toe to toe vs kagura if both don’t use ults because of lunox s2. Kagura on the other can catch a lot of lunox players off guard because her burst is quicker. It is just up to the players play style and reaction time. I’ve never lost a full health battle vs a kagura because I always look out for her ult and keep lunox on one stack light while avoiding the slow and predictable umbrella
@@Ddfgrsscv i'm a kag main and i can't really say she counters lunox though, their both skills counter each other. kag can combo on lunox, but if lunox has her light mode she could dodge it. lunox can burst kag with dark mode but kag can escape since her mobility is higher than lunox. so at the end it depends on the users

Both mages are difficult as heck to play, but they both specialize on being hard to be locked down/assassinated, and they both have more than just 3 or 4 skills, with Lunox having 5, and Kagura having 6. Against tanky opponents, as well as fighters and assassins who love to dive, Lunox shines. She can become tanky and invulnerable, or a skill spamming mage that ignores high health and magic resist. She plays more of a traditional mage. Against long ranged opponents, Kagura shines more. She can deal lots of AOE damage, apply both slow and stun, has multiple dashes, and can survive cc and burst thru her shield and cleansing skill. She plays as a control mage and an assassin at the same time. Both are very strong in 1v1 and in teamfights, with Lunox being stronger in 1v1 a bit more, while Kagura is stronger in teamfights.
Lunox combos are more effective in team fights while kagura is like a one-shot mage,you know what I mean?

Mmm it depends as they both excel in different areas, but consistency wise, Kagura would be the better choice as she is highly mobile, can cc immune and wipe out the backline. Lunox is good against tanky heroes, but since you already have an adc who their main job is to take the tanks out, it's a bit redundant.

I love both but I would choose lunox first even tho kagura can easily poke and escape. lunox however is too good to ignore, above all she's a tank killer and can be played on exp lane. Personally I have tried her on all roles except tank build. Her damage as hyper is insane. Can defend on exp lane quite easily. Faster item build on gold lane so her damage can be put up rather quick. Can solo mid even if it's 1v2. Though it's hard to actually get rid of enemy hyper, it is in fact very easy to kill their tank. thanks to lunox, I solo my way all the way to mythic lol
Bro i would say everything depends on team combo if u have someone who can destroy enemy backline then go lunox and kill then tanks but if u dont have someone to target backline go kagura cause kill enemy backline is more important than melting tanks, so its all about killing backline so depends on ur team picks.
I play mostly mages ( yve , kagura , lunox ) and the only mage I don't like facing in the midlane is Nana . She puts Molina just near my turret. And I can't even approach to clear the minion wave .When I try to move from the bush side I find the enemy tank waiting to ambush me

kagura is significantly better for following up on short cc skills like ruby and for dealing with deadly close rangers like lunox, lylia miya ect, if you need someone specific dead she’s your pick. Although kag is my main and favorite mage she’s really fallen off recently because of her painful mana and lane clear issues
While Lunox is more endurance based and performs better with long cc skills like minotaur, she also outperforms kagura in prolonged teamfights fights because of her superior ult CD. She also rips appart fighters like yuzhong and cici which kagura generally struggles against
In Reality : Lunox because she is the In betweener of both Chaos and Orders just like Scarlet Witch, Zatanna, Doctor Fate level.
