- It doesn't get the same attention as some of the Fischer Rangers, but the 92 Ti is a fantastic ski that's highly versatile.

Thank you, gentlemen! I especially appreciated the comparison to the Fischer Ranger FR94. Knowing that the TI is going to have better bite and that the FR is going to be easier in bumps particularly helps me better identify myself in relation to the two different skis. I have been saving up for an FR94 and now feel more confident that it is the right ski for me because I watched this review. Thanks, again!
Perfect! Those are the kind of decisions we love helping with. Glad we could make you feel more confident in your purchase. See you out there!
Great on mountain reviews, it’s good watch two different skiers on the same ski . Keep them coming
Not only are they great skis, but they match Bob's boots perfectly! Looking good is half the battle! Merry Xmas!
I couldn't help but notice that myself! Merry Christmas and Happy 2021 in just a few days!
“I am not the best skier.” That sums up my skiing as well. Appreciate the honesty
I think he literally means it though he is a lot better than most. Not sure the same can be said for anyone else that says im not the best skier. Usually they arent very good.
you say, "I'm not the best skier in the world", me, " I should stick to sledding then" :)
Thank you!! I love ❤️ your videos
Thank you!
Edit: Can we come skiing with you in France once the world goes back to something that more closely resembles normal?
nice, not many skies on the slopes of stowe
Great stuff. Glad to see these skis getting some attention. Is there another ski that is low 90s underfoot, covers the entire mountain, come out this year, that you would recommend over this ski? Specifically for Northeast conditions... Seems like the 92ti is a solid do it all one ski quiver...
Head Kore 93. At 171 length it is actually 91 underfoot.
Nothing that I'd specifically recommend over this ski, no, I like the Ranger line a lot. I do think the Armada Declivity 92 is pretty cool, and it's hard to overlook Enforcer 94s (or 93s), but the Enforcer is heavier. Kore 93 as Christopher mentioned also has its benefits as a Northeast ski... super quick and agile in the trees, which is a lot of fun.
How would guys compare the Fischer 92ti to the new Armada Declivity 92ti? Both seem to be fairly light weight. Appreciate the feedback and great review content!
You know, it's actually a pretty similar comparison! They both carve well and hold an edge well, but they also both have a playful, versatile side and a more freeride-inspired shape than a lot of skis in this width range. I think the biggest difference is how they feel. The Declivity feels quiter and more damp... Ranger more energetic and more responsive, but that's also a pretty subtle difference. Similar levels of stability, power, edge grip, etc overall.
I'm looking for a hard charging carver ski for the groomers and ice. This will be mainly skied in the West for non-powder days, but I will want to it for the rare trip to the Vermont resorts as well. The Brahma 88 seems to be that ski, but I want something more forgiving that won't leave me tired by noon/allow me to relax a little/ski through the bumps and trees, again, on non-powder. I have skied the 2018 Bonafide and I have an idea of what the Blizzards are about. But is the Ranger 92 TI more my ski? I want it to be. But I also see the K2 Mindbender 90 TI as maybe the ski as well?
Yeah, I think Ranger 92 would work better than the Brahma for what you're looking for. The Ranger is definitely more forgiving and less fatiguing, while still maintaining a strong feel and solid edge grip. Mindbender 90 kind of blends the performance of the two. Heavier than the Ranger, but not as demanding as the Brahma. Hope that helps and sorry for the delay getting back to you!
Hey guys! Are you gone do a 2021 powder Ski Comparison at some point ? Would love to see and hear your opinians on the subject !
Hey Fillip! Yeah, we're still hoping to get to it. We've had some COVID restriction in our state in the last month or so that's made it hard for Bob and I do film a long video like that in the same room. We're waiting and thinking about other ways we could pull it off.
Hey Guys how would U compare the Ranger 92 Ti with the Rossignol Experience 92 or the Völkl Kendo 88. I’m 174cm and weigh about 165 lbs. I would consider myself as a pretty advanced to expert skier who spends most of the time on the slopes in the alpes but when there’s powder I spend the whole day out there. What ski, ski length would u suggest for me?
By the way: Great vids. Could watch them all day long.
Hey Tom! In general, it feels more like the Experience than the Kendo. They share a more similar shape. What's unique about the Ranger, however, is I think it works in more soft snow performance than mot skis in this category. Swing weight feels a little lighter and I think the long tip rocker helps a lot in softer snow conditions. So, my pick would be either the Ranger 92 or Experience 92... 171 in the Ranger or 173 in the Experience 92, I don't think there's any reason to go longer than that.
Hey Jeff, what’s the goggles model you used of sweet protection, clock works? Any plans for reviewing goggles? Thanks;)
In this video (and most of our videos) I'm wearing the Interstellar. I did just get a new pair of the Clockwork, however, and now I'm not sure which I like more. Interstellar is wider, which I kinda like, but the Clockwork might fit my face better. Anyways, yes, we're actually planning on a few goggle reviews. I have a pair of Smith 4D Mag on my desk just begging to be tested.
Not the worlds best skier? Are you kidding me? Shush dude. You’re one of the sickest smoothest piste skiers I’ve seen online. Period. SMH. User error, smh. Case in point, Black Crows line review Camox Skis from 9:10 - 9:44. Dopest most underrated piste skiing I’ve ever seen. Just sayin bruh.
Thanks! That's very nice of you to say. I'm lucky to be friends with/have skied with a lot of skiers who I consider better than me, so it's easy for me to say I'm not the best in the world. ;)
Hi, what length did you test on? What do you recommend for a experienced skiier, L185cm weight 75kg?
Jeff skied the 178, Bob the 185. You're taller than me (Jeff), but similar weight. I think I would go 178 unless you specifically prefer longer skis. The Ranger 92 has a relatively stiff tail, so can be somewhat of a handful in longer lengths.
92 worth a look...as we are usually overlooking this width.
Yeah it kind of feels like it gets lost a little bit... There are a lot of popular skis in the 88-90 range, then the 96-100 range, and a lot of skis in between don't get much attention in my opinion. Salomon QST 92 is another one that people seem to forget about.
Elan Wingman vs Fischer Ranger 82 ti? Witch one is best for days in the slopes with a variety of snow quality?
Wingman is a pretty special ski for carving groomers with power and stability. Ranger just feels like more of an all-mountain ski that can also carve. If you're on-trail and carving, I'd lean to the Wingman.
Skier at 10:00 looks injured. Hope that wasn't the case!
We actually stopped just below them. Ski Patrol was there really quickly and they didn't appear to be seriously injured, thankfully!
What are bobs poles?!
