Make a Halloween Ghost prop

- You can make this 5ft ghost prop for your yard or haunt, about $30 in materials and a bit of creativity can really make YOUR ghost stand out. This gives you the bones of the technique to put to use making your ethereal horde! I use underlayment foam and a heat gun to bring it together.

That is so Awesome!!! Thank you for sharing your talent with us! I am going to go make stuff!😁
You are so welcome!
That Underlayment has unlimited possibilities...A lightweight Prop like this could easily be suspended/mounted up high...
I’m So glad you’re doing edited videos again, Allen... Streamed videos are simply too long for me. Great tutorial 👍
Glad you like them!
I guess that would be on the bucket list
do it!
@@StiltbeastStudios I learn a lot from your videos and appreciate the time and effort you put into them
best use of materials and fire and ice light. Thumbs up for the spray paint dance lol
it said "shake for one minute" so...
Such great ideas. Even if I don’t do exactly the same, you show what can be done with different materials and inspire me to make other things x
building a ghost while wearing a ghost shirt

This is SO freaking awesome! Too bad I have gale force winds most of the time. I would find my ghost in the next continent LOL
Thanks for sharing!
yeah, it ends up pretty light weight
That would really make an impactful horde of ghosts.
Right? Like a little army - or not so little.lol
Dang it Allen now another project to add to my list to do. Really looking forward to a mummy video and your easy way of doing it.
He's coming!

@@StiltbeastStudios yep I've always been a big fan of the peppers ghost effect
Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing this with us. You are awesome.
You are so welcome
Another awesome RUclips Wednesday. A great way to use up any extra buckets. The 2 1/2 gal buckets from HD would be cool also. Thanks again Allen...
Great idea! -Thanks Robert
I'm fully expecting Allen to do a video one day missing an arm - a whole arm, with him explaining that earlier that day he "nicked" himself with a power saw but that it's ok as it was "just a flesh wound". Lol - he's like Wile E Coyote where no matter what happens to him, he just comes right back like new! Great project Allen, as usual.
"I got better" Im glad you liked the video! being passionate about what you do gives you super powers! cheers!
So true you nailed it
that turned out really great and for 30 bucks you can't go wrong ...thanks for sharing HFL!!

Informative, inspirational, and entertaining.
glad you feel that way
As usual another great video Allen!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good 'ol Allen "Asbestos Hands" Hopps
that is fairly true lol.
Very cool
Thanks!
I would cut the top of the bucket with a jagged edge to get rid of the flat line at the bottom of the ghost..
Amazing! you do so much with so little
I try!
Love your shirt 😍
Hey, thanks!
Genius level - all your vids
thank you, you are too kind.
That’s awesome
thanks! I think they are fun!
Love it
spooky
Love the shirt bro
Thanks Ken
So glad I found you on RUclips I really like making things like this biggest problem is is I can't find a skull to mold more heads with it's crazy I just haven't been able to find one keep up the good work
more heads or more skulls? maybe I can help
The foam sheeting... If you put several layers over a statue, heated it, then cut it off and reassembled it... basically using the statue as a mold, would it work to make a more accurate looking ghost?
Thank you love the video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Tubal ghostly hula dance... this is the internet content I signed up for 😂👻🕺
then that is what you shall receive! its the internet you deserve!
There are heat resistant plastic tubes made specifically for fog machines. I bought one last year from spirit halloween for about $15. That would probably be pretty useful for this project or any other ones you do that involve a fog machine
great idea! I just let it shoot into the hole.
That would be cool to have, especially if you make a couple ghosts and need to distribute the fog to both
Your awesome
Hey thanks man!
Going to make stuff now!
YES!
Do you have a spotlight shinning on this or is the light inside the bucket?
First of all, I did not hear "bucket" just before you put the light in,... Secondly,.... nice Segway after "second hole." Also, I enjoyed the look of the ghost. You do great work.
sometimes things just happen lol. I really should have said "your second hole...gets a fog machine" but I didnt.
I was amused. Thanks for the great content.
Does this ghost last the haunting season outside? Could I frame the body with pvc pipe for it to last longer?
yes and yes- Polyethylene foam is the same foam pool noodles are made of, so it does fine outside. and its hollow so its easy to put wire or pvc in it.
How about a mummy suit next?
I will try to show some mummy stuff soon
How do you keep fog close to the ground?
I have the styrofoam head but no shoulders. Did you make them or buy like that? Did you do a tutorial?
I did!
ruclips.net/video/GezOkTDFGX0/видео.html
Or you can buy mannequin busts from amazon.
oh man, imagine if you ran the fog through a chiller, that would look creepy
sure would
“Your second hole.” 🥳
shhhhh........
Can you please do a Christmas
This underpayment is expensive now. Sounds like you spent $26 on underpayment 2 years ago. But it’s$49 for 4x25 sqft. Is there something else that can be used for this?
enough layers and texture on clear plastic sheeting gets good results as well as making clear packing tape dummies
Awesome. Shouldn't you wear a respirator to do this?
No, there are no fumes whatsoever unless you really start melting and/ cause flame.
Curious how it holds up in wind and rain.
its light weight, but its waterproof so it has all those properties.
If you don't check the heat gun with your hand, how will you ever know it's working?
my thoughts exactly
Are you sure that heat gun was hot enough? If only there was a way to test it... Great job Allen. I was creating the graveyard statue using the underlayment when I decided to turn it into a ghost instead! Perfect timing on your part. I bought some cheap string lights for the bottom but hadn't considered the fog machine... hmm... running low on money now...
lol-Thank you, I appreciate it!
Do you have kids 🤔
