Make a Halloween Ghost prop

  • You can make this 5ft ghost prop for your yard or haunt, about $30 in materials and a bit of creativity can really make YOUR ghost stand out. This gives you the bones of the technique to put to use making your ethereal horde! I use underlayment foam and a heat gun to bring it together.

    I'm fully expecting Allen to do a video one day missing an arm - a whole arm, with him explaining that earlier that day he "nicked" himself with a power saw but that it's ok as it was "just a flesh wound". Lol - he's like Wile E Coyote where no matter what happens to him, he just comes right back like new! Great project Allen, as usual.

    The foam sheeting... If you put several layers over a statue, heated it, then cut it off and reassembled it... basically using the statue as a mold, would it work to make a more accurate looking ghost?

    Does this ghost last the haunting season outside? Could I frame the body with pvc pipe for it to last longer?

    • @StiltbeastStudios
      @StiltbeastStudios  3 года назад

      yes and yes- Polyethylene foam is the same foam pool noodles are made of, so it does fine outside. and its hollow so its easy to put wire or pvc in it.

  • @EricScheck
    @EricScheck 3 года назад +1

    Are you sure that heat gun was hot enough? If only there was a way to test it... Great job Allen. I was creating the graveyard statue using the underlayment when I decided to turn it into a ghost instead! Perfect timing on your part. I bought some cheap string lights for the bottom but hadn't considered the fog machine... hmm... running low on money now...
