Last year I was staying in a hotel in Bar Harbor right by the ocean, and the window was open at night and I was woken up with blood curdling screaming outside my window in the woods. Like a woman repeatedly getting stabbed but not dying. Just about died in fright right there, until my now husband calmly said: deer. It was a deer. Had no idea deer did that. Still mildly traumatized

Ocean City Maryland is pretty notorious for being haunted. And Galveston Texas is down right sad from all the people who passed from hurricane in 1900
