I believe they sampled a section of a song called "Fields of Joy" from the SciFi series Farscape (season 1 episode 5) for one of the GLA themes. It starts around 24:00. The original is slower, so they probably sped it up to match the upbeat tempo of the GLA music. Thanks to this channel for uploading this amazing music.

i miss these times of RTS. the GLA was a genius faction where it was still okay to put "terrorists" into games. i destroyed my keyboard by ejecting sprite out of my nose selecting a suicider that said "i love a crowd!'.

I did all the campaigns in base game and zero hour on normal first but GLA campaigns are the only ones I completed on brutal difficulty too. OUR COURAGE WILL BE SEEN BY ALL!

i used to make plenty of them too since i like mobile warfare. but my preference in every army was always their tanks so the most common line i know from the GLA is : "Scorpion, ready to sting."
Now don’t get me wrong, USA faction had some bops. But GLA faction had consistently good tunes and they had some bangers, especially in the zero hour expansion pack. That shit get me hype every time i listen to this soundtrack 🔥🔥

The Imperial Warrior kills with superior technology and style. The GLA Rebel kills with sheer manliness and testosterone induced fury that can destroy any weakling with a single, unerring strike with his equally manly knife. Pretty legit for me.
I agree with you, Generals is fun but Red Alert 2 and 3 Had GOTY Editions and C&C3 tiberium wars had a deluxe pack (kane's wrath) on xbox so DLCs somewhat existed

i remember at the last mission for the GLA, i managed to joink the partical-canon from the americans, and when i used it against a small chinese base, the messanger told me, that the enemy used a partical cannon.... WTF???? XDDDD
