I live in Georgia and I am considering the GaTAPP. How can I get help/suggestions with studying for the GACE?

Very informative video. I’m interested in connecting with you, I need some help. I just accepted a teaching job in GA, I have 9 years of teaching experience under provisional certifications and in a charter school in Oklahoma. If possible what’s the best way to connect? Im not sure what’s the best route to take and GA certification commission office is only open Monday and Wednesday.

Hello. You only have 2 routes. You can go to school to get your masters and initial certification or you can go through the TAPP program which you must have a bachelor’s degree. Hope this helps

You are extremely helpful. How long is the entire process if I have a degree in business? I was a special education teacher assistant for 4 yrs in a different state but I now live in GA

It does not matter which degree you are in. The whole process is 2 years in Georgia.

Your best bet is to find a TAPP program in your area if you already have a degree
