      As a waitress/ became "server"(to deflect offense, im old school and dont mind waitress) i loved my bussers! And super kind to the dishwashers. Thank you thank you! Without clean dishes NOTHIN gets out of the floor! Clean tables.. team work. however the tier is almost an upside down pyramid! The service industry is underrated.. Best experiences of my life and learning curves on the fly working with food/beverage service.. erybody needs to be on that end at least once in their workhood ;)

      HS baseball coach used to tell use: desire. what do you desire? Define. Define the goal clearly. Determine. Have you determined that it is a worthwhile goal to pursue? Dedicate, give it your all to achieve it. Discipline. Be disciplined by your results, nobody has to smack you, yell at you or give you detention in order for you to make adjustments to better meet your goals. Compare results to defined goals and make adjustments as necessary.

  • @TheWolfangst

    What I want to add here is that I've noticed that everything stems from focus. In my own experience having rock solid pure focus solves any issues with the other two traits you mentioned in this video. It feels like consistency and discipline comes naturally after my gaze is fixed on the target.

    • @pran8145
      @pran8145 Год назад +4

      yes and focus is usually channelled by the persons "why" aka pain. So, some folks are not focused because it takes effort and they don't want to put that in - until something major happens like their wife cheats on them, or a near death experience etc. then that pain can lead to focus.

    Bedros jan, I stumbled upon your channel accidentally (perhaps because I watch PBD, Jordan Peterson and Joe Rogan). Now I’m hooked. Your comparison between “one day” vs “specific date” resonates so well, since I’ve been guilty of that more often than I should have. It’s very much in line with PBD’s “want vs will” speech. And the fact that I can listen to you and draw analogies between your messages and PBD’s, or better yet, hear the same message that my dad has been saying over the years (and I’m only now fully getting it), that speaks to the truthfulness of your words. Thank you. I’m a subscriber now…

It all makes sense why native people are less likely to succeed in their own country than a foreigner in that country. Similar position, my wife is a long distance runner and does 10, 15, 20 mile runs. I'm always amazed with her mental strength and athletic abilities.
    I have been going more and more with her to do maybe 5 miles. She would invite me all the time and I was always so sure that I couldn't and would stick to weights and walking on the treadmill, until one day I just went and started running with her.
    Now it has become a family activity and she loves it. I still can't keep up with her but I know I am going to get there.
    So hearing the story about you telling yourself that you were not a runner is totally relatable. 👍 Awesome info as usual.
