This was wonderful. Reading through the comments, I agree with many of them, so there no need to repeat. What I will say is always remember your why. As you said it was simply to share your hair journey with the hopes of helping others with some laughs along the way. Its unfortunate that in this society, sometimes there is this group think and if one person thinks a little differently or has a different experience, folks come for you. When you boxed in it's natural to come out swinging. This self reflection was beautiful, and thank you for sharing with us. I believe it's all up from here. I'm here for it! God bless you!
Thank you. No I am not. I’m just very analytical and used my personal thought process to try and explain why you may want to pick one section or room over another. And thanks for the nice comment, you can see below that some people are not as nice.
As I state several times, everyone’s wants are different. We have had aft balconies which we love, but we also prefer to be more mid ship and near an elevator.
@@ShannonFord from past experience they don't put more sound insulation in rooms near high activity. Besides what happens when you out on the deck or have those doors open?
Our sailing isn’t until March and we haven’t been assigned yet. However, our check-in is tonight so I am hoping to try the Apple Wallet trick to see which stateroom we have been assigned. Last year, we were officially assigned 4 weeks before our sailing and that trend seems to be continuing with Icon as well. We were able to see our cabin number after we did online check-in through our Apple Wallet Set Sail pass
If you prefer to be mid-ship, I would suggest booking an XN because the neighborhoods are mostly midship and will give you a better chance for not being on either end of the ship.

This was very informative! Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Are you a travel agent? You seem very informed.
Thank you.

Barrel Eye fish of the sea... that being RC Icon
We booked a New Years eve cruise on her for December 2024 never did a new year's eve cruise before...
That sounds amazing! And expensive LOL
@ShannonFord well we didn't go crazy we booked an oceanview balcony cabin midship.
@@ShannonFord your videos of the ship cabins are always so awesome..
Too focused on the elevator. Better views from the back of the ship with the interior balconies
Agreed. You can tell she dislikes walking very much.

@@MrDennis2572 agreed too focus on being close to the elevators. Some folks are just damn lazy.
Those aft rooms are closer to the Kids zone, so lots of noise
No way to know just yet. I would think with how much they cost, they soundproofed them pretty good.

So are all C3 and C5 oversized balconies?
I believe so. The Cs are large balconies or CB is connecting balcony
how was your experience with guaranteed?
