i dont know why no one has said this but if I were on a mission with Captain Price, I would feel invincible and extremely safe. Not only is he a literal GOD of war, but he also has years and years of experience and maximum plot armor.

When Captain Price claimed that the best defense we'll have is the dark, I laughed. I knew that was gonna be a crock since the Al-Qatala would be able to see in pitch black as a Cat can. Also, they have the ability to home in to your exact location should something go wrong. Those two irritations spoil this mission some, but, not completely. Getting back to what's good?, well, your default weapon choices aside, there are all kinds of mix n' match options. You can find a suppressed AK-47 (with or without a Drum Mag), a Suppressed UZI (better as a secondary weapon), a Suppressed FN-FAL (just like what Price has), and 2 versions of Suppressed FAMAS (with or without optics) and Suppressed Shotguns (with or without optics). The Suppressed X-16 is a wonderful sidearm (don't forget those double taps!), but I like to pick up one of the Shotguns to use in it's place. I have played this mission with un-suppressed weapons and while it's probably not a good idea, it's not that big a deal either. Finally and, while it might not be everyone's option, I shoot out all the lights out and inside of Barkov's Mansion. Why?, well, just for something to do - it's not as though the battery ever dies in your NVGs....Oh, something to consider should you choose an un-suppressed weapon?, very few if any will be equipped with a Laser Optic so aiming can be a little tricky - but, not impossible.

I would hate to be captain price having to carry full kit, two rifles, helmet and heavy GPNVG’s humping it through the woods. I also love how you “shoot” out the lights do distract the enemy. I’m sure the enemy isn’t thinking “that just sounded like a gunshot”.
What kind of stealth is that in this Mission? Battlefield 3 had a Better Stealth mission where your blasting Snipers with a Irnv suppresed Sniper and are out of Range
