Just watched your plate up videos yesterday and I am so happy to see you playing this again. I didn’t have computer and don’t have friends to play with either so I always watch you playing plate up. This game has so many things to do and really wants to play once!
@@fireballfilms yeah it is only for one group, and you have to put a "menu" on a table so the guests will go to it. otherwise they wait there. Better off without it.
@@fireballfilms one benefit is it lets you choose which table they sit at. If you have a fancy table cloth table, you can send all the diners there to make more money.
@@trevorcoleman9125 the problem with that though is i wouldnt leave it at just 1 fancy cloth table we always make sure to get a copier so in the 2 or so turns you have a mix of tables it's not really worth it to waste your time seating people
Skoottie, hosting stand is for when you have 100% automation of food prep, serving of dishes dish removal and washing and you just sit there hit the button whenever someone makes an order. Nice to see you playing PlateUp again : )
This is wild - you originally got me into PlateUp!, its so cool to see you come back to it! Also - serving over hatches is oldschool (sometimes) these days, at least for speedrunning 😉 There's a lot of cool strats these days

There's a mod that lets you just dump the water, also unless it's been fixed if you have a clean dish in the sink when you dump it you get an extra portion of spaghetti.
How do you get the items to appear at the bottom? They always appear randomly throughout the restaurant for me. Also glad to see your return to plateup. Hope you can do some coop in the game again.
Check the in-game settings. In there is a toggle to have the parcels spawn inside or outside. Also some other useful settings like color blind mode that adds letters to the dishes so you dont get confused with some dishes.

Well you can play online only if you get friends and it is on most consoles
5min into the video, and having to dump pasta water in the trash only is wild.
Hosting stands means they aren't waiting outside. So rain and dark doesn't bother them.
last time i tried to use it only 1 person would stand at it at a time so it's kinda like a worse coffee table

i think you're thinking or ordering terminal the host stand is to sit people at specific tables for whatever reason

I find the hosting stand best on autumn maps. Can never have coffee tables when the group sizes get to big
