Great video. Houston fans should be ecstatic that Eason and Thompson are on their team. Not sure what they'll do with the 6 or 7 guys who make up their young core in the next couple of years. Sengun and Green were signed to rookie extensions but could, conceivably, be traded next summer without any 'poison pill' ramifications which make a trade in-season this year almost a non-starter even if they wanted to....But Eason and Thompson's ability to switch everything on defense, their constant motor, and their 'plus plus' athleticism make them really fun to watch.
The Rockets basically have a core 7 of young guys (2 from each previous draft class plus Reed Sheppard this year). The final form of the Rockets will probably only see them keep 3 maybe 4 of them max. Cam Whitmore already looks like he's on the way out. If the terror twins are staying, then I think they keep Jalen OR Alpi, plus one of Jabari or Sheppard.
@@dmi33 Agree 100%. Hopefully there's an opportunity where they can package the players that the front office (and Ime) aren't sold on for the long-term and parlay that into a quality piece to fit in with the 3 or 4 they end up keeping.
Yeah even I as a Filipino who should support our own no matter what, Jalen Green is super inconsistent. Doesn't affect the game as much as these duo does when they are on the court. Maybe they should start these 2.
It's great that the Rockets are leading in offensive rebounds; however, I suspect they get a lot of offensive rebounds and second chance points because the team is shooting so terribly right now. similarly, the assist numbers would be a lot better if their shots were falling. Eason and Thompson have been phenomenal. I'm loving it. I just hope the rockets starters can improve their shooting soon. --- Another point: last comment in the video is about how the Rockets are what the NBA is missing. I absolutely agree. It's too bad very few Rockets games get national coverage. Hopefully they can get to the playoffs and make a splash!
Good video but the reason the rockets are the number 1 offense rebounding team in the league is because the team is incredibly not efficient on the offense end and bricks alot of shots
Hey, it's working, let's change it. Why is everyone always trying to change what's working? I don't mean don't watch for adjustments or stay with something that isn't working blindly. I mean if you have a strong bench because of these two, why turn it into a liability by diluting it? If you have three excellent and two good starters, then let that roll and leave those two to dominate off the bench. If it turns out later that things aren't working, then move them around.
I trust Ime (not with my girlfriend) but to have a rotation with purpose. There are always interviews (games) in professional sports. Rockets won't win it this year but maybe next with their talented youth and bevy of picks.
bro they will start eventually yall chill they will replace FVV & Dillon thats the whole plan of young core Rockets. let them develop til FVV+Brooks contract ends. theyre not ready to start yet. ofcourse their stats will blow up cause theyre against other bench units

Harden flopping like a 🐟 💦 fish out of water!
Thanks for saying what we’ve all been thinking!!! Since last year, but this year, both of my markedly better
Just subbed. Fantastic editing fantastic breakdown!
Great video...
This is literally a nightmare
Terror Twins best name ever Houston playoff bound.
Love the conclusion. 😁
First clip looked like live 2025
I don't care if they're coming off the bench, but I'd like to see their minutes increase. Amen and Tari are the most important players on the team.

“Verse” versus “Versus”.

+/- is a BS stat but yes they are very good.
