24:10 Oh yeah, the legendary shootout with zombies starring professor Kruglov, who wielded Walther P99, rushed the enemy and screamed "HURRAY!" while getting every 7.62 to the face. That time I regretted saving him from the mercs at the Wild Territory.
Thankfully the guy isn't locked to his Walther, so one can equip him with a more suitable weapon that doesn't force him to run headfirst into trouble. Those scientists, man...
20:00 You did find a rad absorbing artifact last video but you sold it. 39:30 In other news, welcome to the entrance to Limansk, an area from STALKER: Clear Sky. Sadly, a place not accessible in STALKER 2 but likely for the best. Don't think there's very many that were fond of the area in that previous game. Some lore: If I'm not mistaken on this, Limansk was a town established AFTER the first Chernobyl Disaster and housed the families of the scientists behind the various top secret projects carried out in the Zone. When the first emission hit that created the Zone, its inhabitants all vanished. 47:20 Say 'hello' to Degtyarev's Corps, a group that is pretty much a sub-faction of Wardens who are led by another familiar face from the STALKER series. They're technically the final faction in this game. No one else, either new or old, from here on out.
Damn, Mr. Librarian casually posting two videos of the both series I'm currently watching is awesome. I missed this game so much because you're the only RUclipsr that I like which is playing this game.
The fact that most of X-labs are inaccesible makes sense plot-wise. In SoC after Strelok goes through each lab and gets the documents he is constantly being intercepted by the military and escapes. It is plausible that labs doors get welded shut after that. I think you can explore an entrance to X-18 in the Dark Valley (included in the Garbage in Stalker 2) to some extent but not past the keypad door.
(SPOILERS FOR GAMEPLAY ELEMENTS IF YOU WANT TO FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF) If you're looking for radiation-absorbing artifacts, I suggest looking in chemical anomalies. The one you'd be looking for if you want to counteract the radiation from the Hypercube is Liquid Rock. It's quite rare, as it is a legendary artifact like Hypercube, but it also gives you maximum chemical resistance. A quick guide to artifact stat proportions: If Weak is 1, then Medium is 2, Strong is 3, and Maximum is 6. Another way to counteract the radiation is by getting a lead container from one of the techs. Some beginner-level techs can't install those, but the ones on Sultansk, Rostok and Yaniv definitely can. If you install a lead container, your aritfact slot will glow green, and it will completely absorb the radiation from any artifact you put in it. Oh, and also, if you're going artifact hunting, I recommend carrying the Gilka detector, as it has three times the range of ANY other detector in the game.
Hey The Librarian! I know this is a weird thing to ask. But i wanted to tell you about some world building project im doing. I tell youubecause the themes of it I think youd understand, enjoy and appreciate the best. Its of a planet called Westsyl. An abandoned, failed terraformed planet. Its surface is covered in continent sized futuristic coties all since abandoned, giant human architecture, most of its surface is desert or polluted wasteland, with oceans and mountaints strewn about. its lonely, no one lives there anymore, the people left, the investors in its development pulled out. There was no calamity, just the slow death if a world that could never last long term, like a ghost town or boom town. The air is breathable as the ecosystem never completely died , but the life inteoduced there never took the ay it was intended tom I just wanted to know what you think, i thought you would enjoy the idea. Its much more in depth than that if youd like to know more. Have a good evening! Your one of my favorite youtubers and inespecially enjoy your Gmod spooky map exploration videos.
Praised be to librarian for giving us two uploads of my two favourite currently ongoing series in the same day 🙏
Exactly right, I just watched the Subnautica part 🙂
33:06 the timing on this part feels like a well crafted skit lol

The devs actually added cooking to the game and that means you can now make cheese.

We all float down here.
51:43 Oh my god, Harpy calls Colonel Degtyaryev "Deggy" in English localization, I'm wheezing
was waiting for this one to pop up finally :D
I heard rumors that some rare anomalies spawn artifacts that don't show up on a detector
21:49 I recognize this mobile lab
21:49 I recognize this bridge
Спасибо за видео, Крис!

Day 11 of asking the librarian to play the utility room
isn't there a real-life project to put massive concrete disks over the reactors?

Day 8 of harassing the library man with my recommendation of exploring gm_Underground_IV in VR
