Thanks for including my broken ukes, Rachel. I feel it is necessary to show our mistakes on our journey through UAS (ukulele acquisition syndrome). I loved the other ukes shown, too. I live near Brisbane too, but I've not met Phil yet.

I really enjoyed seeing and showing your ukes Tobias, and we learn from our mistakes, not our successes. Thanks again for sending such great pics too.

With ukuleles being so small as they are do you really need one sized down for traveling? Personally I travel with my best sounding ukulele and always made sure I had a humidified hard case to keep it in A+ condition. I would rather have the best sounding uke with me at all times and not bother with buying a smaller travel uke. Just my useless opinion but would love to hear how other people travel with there ukes!

The sound of that sopranino from Marquês is gorgeous, but it has the soprano and smaller sizes issue, the higher notes do not have almost any sustain, so fingerpicking sounds a bit weird, but for strumming it really shines, and having it the size of my hand I carry it everywhere with me, commuting to work, on hikes, on the backseat of the car and so on, simply awesome to have it by my side.

I tend to take a concert out and admit, it's normally a cheaper one if I'm outdoors. Would make an interesting question to ask Chris, nice suggestion.
