Not only that, people forget Sanji was born a regular human and lived as such until Wano where his Germa enhancements manifested, before that it was all being kicked by Seff and then being punched by Luffy.
The perfect example of the "gifted kid" is Yuno from Black Clover. Always been perfect with magic since day one, gets a super special magic grimoire that no one else has, plus a fairy goddess that simps for him 24/7
Jujutsu Kaisen's power system relies on innate talent! We learn in the first few chapters of the manga that 90% of sorcerers potential isn't aquired through training. And yes that includes Toji since a heavenly restriction is nothing more than an innate binding vow sacrificing cursed energy for physical prowess or vice versa.
counter point : it is shown by Yuta when he took control of Gojo's body that alot of Gojos power came from him training to master the limitless and six eyes to thier full potential because even Yuta who is as gifted a Gojo was unable to properly use the six eyes and limitless
@@Isntmypfpdisgusting and not everyone can push there self near death for training maybe idk they're born more hard working just like how the gifted are everyone literally have their own talent it's the same shit all over again
Absolutely agree with Deku. Contrary to what many say, the guy is not just a "gifted" kid. Worked for ten whole months straight, cleaning out mountains of trash from an entire beach, also suffering from overwork, then continued to train regularly in both weight training and combat training, not waiting for there to be a training arc to improve his skills. And you'll keep hearing about people saying that he had to be given everything on a silver platter to put in any work. At the beginning of the series, it's made pretty clear that Bakugou wouldn't even let him try to be a hero, imagine how much worse it would've been when Deku put in effort. Bakugou went on to ignore him after the Slime incident which gave him the opportunity to train with the encouragement of All Might. And his dream wasn't specifically to be a hero, him being a hero was his way of achieving his actual dream of helping and inspiring people, both of which he accomplished. He just decided that he wasn't going to be a lazy bum and went on to be the teacher of the main reason why people go to Superhero Harvard. Him getting the iron man suit wasn't him getting another chance at his dream, it was a chance to do what he enjoyed. That being said, I would say that Gohan is gifted. Super Hero alone is enough proof of that, and the entirety of Z was about Gohan having innate potential and reaching that potential.
@@azurewriter8347 people sleep on deku just because they don't like the anime, he's very hard working even when gifted one for all. People seem to conveniently forget that he was breaking his bones just to use his power, and trained to use it more effectively over the whole series.
@OMG_YGO i think it's like sanji case (sanji was born superhuman but he had to rely on training and martial arts throughout almost all arcs, yet when he unlocked his genes people think he was just born strong), just on a higher scale, deku was given one of the strongest quirks, that also had 6 other quirks, people ignoring that izuku had to train to even use the base form of one for all and didnt unlock the quirks until later, just like some people ignore the fact sanji didn't have super humans genes since the beginning (again not everyone ignores sanji like they ignore deku, but sanji is the best way I can explain this)

@infernojae true but gohan is an outstanding example, sinse he did serious damage to raditz, had his potential unlocked by Grand Elder Guru, unlocked ssj 2 through 16's death, got mystic form from old kai, and with little training (compared to Goku's level) with piccolo was able to briefly take on ssj blue Goku, my point being thst with little training compared to goku was still able to catch up to him and even beat him during their beast gohan vs ui goku fight.
Yea of course the whole potential thing is seen with him and frieza but that’s not to disregard the work he put in still like with piccolo like with goku or trunks
I mean he is gifted, but (buu saga and everything after that aside) when he trained, he didn't train "a bit", he was trained by Piccolo for a year as a kid, then after Namek trained with Goku AND Piccolo and then trained for a whole year in the chamber with Goku, if he hadn't he wouldn't even have achieved super saiyan, let alone be as strong as Goku if not a little stronger, and then access his latent power with ssj2 Sometimes being gifted doesn't exclude having to work hard to use those powers
I think the problem with the Hard Work Vs Gifted debate is that more often than not people end comparing Hard Work Vs *Potential* rather than talent, and those are two things that you can't really compare Look at Goku, for example, although in this one he's in the hard working category, I've seen many people call him gifted for the seamlessly endless saiyan potential (which is true), even though Goku has spent literal decades training and fighting to earn his current strength
Goku's whole character when it comes specially to his power growth revolves around him constantly breaking and surpassing his limits. I think people forget that he was classified as a low class warrior because of his low potential, which means he was never even supposed to be even as strong as Radditz.
Goku is definitely hard work, along with many other of the hero characters. The "gifted" ones are the villains. Like Cell who ate a bunch of people and two androids and gained insane power. Or Frieza who does like two pushups and instantly catches up to Goku and Vegeta.
@@Er-tiC-ris Truthfully, the Saiyans are an enigma since they're not really human. If we're looking at Goku strictly through the lens of a Saiyan, he'd be in the hard-working category, but there's no doubt that there are things that come naturally to a Saiyan when compared to a human, but then you get exceptions like Videl, Krillin, and Roshi. Gohan, along with Trunks, Pan, Bulla, and Goten, are even more of an enigma since they're all human/saiyan hybrids.
Saitama is both gifted and hardwork but way more gifted,he's a superhuman, his cells upgrade themselves way faster and doesn't have limits, let's not forget that he defeated a monster with just 2 years of training(I think)which is inhuman
Nah, Boruto would be a better candidate for that. Naruto still gained some perks from his clan, the Uzumakis, but that doesn't go beyond large chakra reserves, enhanced vitality and enhanced healing factor separate from being Kurama's jinchuriki. Naruto still had to work hard before he could even begin the effectively utilize his perks. In fact, I would argue his perks were actually hindrances to his development in the early stages of his goal to becoming a shinobi. What ichigo does have that they don't is potential, he can go beyond their limits because he is hybrid
I would still say Gojo is a mix as seen with Yuta his technique is way harder to use than we think. And he is still very knowledgeable in combat and has been training since he was little I would say about 75% talent 25% hardworking but the hardworking can go up depending how you look at it
Gojo is at least 30% talent outright. When Yuta was in his body he fumbled and barely managed to cast Hollow Purple on a half beaten to death Sukuna lol
@@veṅo7f My question is did Yuta fumble due to a lack of Training/knowledge? Or did Yuta fumble because Gojo's blatantly more talented in picking things up and mastering them? Because the former implies that Gojo is 50/50 Hardwork/gifted, but the latter just simply implies he's gifted even beyond his based Curse Technique and Six Eyes. Cause if Its like he has both the perfect body and the perfect mind/knack for talent for mastering that body. He's like 80% Gifted to begin with.
Gojo is still mad gifted with his six eyes and infinity+knowledge from the gojo clan that was pass down it probably took him until he was a teen to master limitless because he had got rct

Another proof that Gojo is gifted is that the previous person with the same power set as him lost to a nobody ten shadow guy without Mahoraga, meaning he was gifted enough to be able to reach that level.
@@SasakiKuso i did in fact read the manga, it literally shows a flashback of gojo and yuta with swapped bodies because of Ui Ui's technique, which shouldn't change their techniques since the brain stays on the original Body,so yuta had time to learn about gojo's body and the limitless + six eyes beforehand (or maybe Gege forgot about that and wanted a reason to glaze sukuna a bit more so he nerfed yuta)

The "Hard Work vs Gifted" debate exists only to glaze the characters you like and belittle the characters you dislike. Specially because both in fiction and real life, most people use a combination of both, plus some luck.
It’s also stupid cause what makes one hard working? In the end all of these characters are gifted with something that’s very op or really good and they all had to train for it. People need to realize that getting an op ability doesn’t automatically make you “the strongest” without help or training
Well, canonically: Luffy and Zoro are both insane Haki prodigies, who mastered it over 10 times faster than a normal person, and Luffy just got the perfect devil fruit for his personality by sheer luck. Saitama somehow broke the limits placed by GOD through his training, which isn’t even that intense for his world. Tanjiro did work hard, but Sun Breathing and the Demon Slayer Mark, his two biggest powers, were kinda just given to him. Gojo did work hard, but he was also the strongest alive from birth. Going from #1 to #1 by a bigger gap isn’t crazy, especially when most of that power wasn’t from training, but from getting stabbed 30 times by a middle aged man. The entirety of naruto goes out of its way to say he had no talent, but despite that clearly not being true, most of his power still came from training. Deku did have to train to use his power, but he only had to train to USE it, not to get it; he was still literally handed the strongest power in the world. conquerors haki isnt something your born with you can develop the spirit of a conqueror at any point in life and he lost that protection after becoming a pirate and for genetics hes like 5:8 and all his strength comes from living in a dangerous jungle and his devil fruit until he awakened it was essentially a basic paramecia until he almost died from fighting for the 3th time that day
Unawakened Hito Hito No Mi Model: Nika is weak asf, Luffy just made it look strong but it literally just turn u into rubber, its the same thing as Sukuna using 10 shadow, 10 shadow is not strong on its own, Sukuna is just that talented and a genius at using that CT stated by Gojo, just like Luffy, its him who made it strong.
I love Gear 5 and the whole sun god thing, but man, it sure did make one piece fans underestimate Luffy capacities. Let's get this straight, Luffy god fruit was literally a regular paramecia type for his entire life, he was just a rubber boi. All of his gears except for gear 5 were his own ideas, and he spent the entirety of his childhood learning how to use a seemingly "weak" fruit to it's best capacity. I dont understand this "debate" because getting "gifted" powers through unusual circumstances and then training hard to control them is literally the basis for like 90% of superhero stories. Isnt being inherently somewhat special yet still needing to work for it the basis of most animes? Specifically shonen?
Yes, this is just favoratism cope like most people in hard working are also gifted and vice versa. like saitama, goku (its silly to say his saiyan zenkai boosts havent helped) luffy, asta all have their own little gifts others just cant have too
The fact they brought isagi and doesn't even know his entire philosophy(well, ego's specifically) is wild. In the recent chapters of blue lock, it was stated that there is "Talented genius" or "talented learners" and those who are in the spectrum are not simply "gifted" but just unleash the latent potential they have albeit different ways. An example is Nagi with his incredible ball control and flexibility. He is undoubtedly in the realm of "genius" but even then he is slowly being toppled by others in the same footing who put twice, thrice, or even strives in football itself.
Gohans main power ups came from multiple asspull potential unlocks, not hard work and most of his training revolved around controlling his power, not becoming stronger. Even if he didnt train, he'd still be one of the strongest fighters, just more volatile, like Broly. He deserves being in the gifted category.
I mean you can argue the body is a byproduct of sanji getting strong enough to reactivate his genes. Im not sure if it was stated but from my knowledge his awakening started happening around when he got the soba mask/stealth black can which he would not have been able to get if he didn't become strong enough to stand up to his family in whole cake. All in all I can see why you'd call him gifted but I think he wouldn't have gotten that far without the work he did prior
Ppl in the comments already mentioned it but JJK's power system is indeed based by talent, even Sukuna whos apparently been a rejected child and probably had to hone his skills alone with arguably a very mild CT (he just goes kinda crazy with it and makes it look top tier tho) is backed by insane amounts of CE and an amazing ability to adapt and learn with only watching something a few times. Its also shown how Yuji (whos got Sukunas potential) in a single battle he HAD to adapt to, could scale up MASSIVELY in a really short amount of time given the right conditions
I want you to think about something. Everytime you see Zoro on the ship what is he doing? Training or Sleeping. What is Sanji doing? Cooking or being a simp. He’s also reached extreme milestones that most shinigami could reach in a hundred years. Actually, that’s exactly the reason why he shouldn’t be considered gifted, almost every single time he’s gotten a power up, it’s either something that took control of him or something that was rushed in a few days time that really should have taken years to learn, understand, and utilize. He had to force out Zangetsu and take his challenge that was never really explained to him what the purpose of the challenge was or how to complete the challenge. He spent 3 full days fighting old man Zangetsu without a single clue of what he was doing, only to IMMEDIATELY have go and stop a weapon with the strength of a million zanpakutos, and then immediately fight one of the trickiest captains to fight, all while not having gotten any rest, and only moderate healing, while also having never even activated his bankai before. That’s only one situation, there’s others such as kisuke throwing him into a hole with his hands tied behind his back and being told “either come out as a shinigami or have your soul eat itself).
I love Ichigoat but it's obvious he's gifted, the kind of training he went through can only be fulfilled by the gifted, take Kisuke throwing him into the hole for an example, if it were to be any other they would have become a hollow and killed, the "thing always taking control of him" is literally something he was gifted with and has another one that has been saving his a55 from death when he's supposed to be cooked, he's made to he the best, the perfect hybrid of a races I don't know how someone's more gifted than that.

@@faredark956Saitama fought those monsters while being as one punch man Hate to say this, but his training alone ain't gonna make him this powerful + what deku has done is far more worst than having no ac or eating only banana
@@faredark956 bruh. Saitama did standard strength training. Sht would be aced by normal people irl. And for that he was given unlimited power. That sht definitely wasn't earned. Without his powers, Saitama wouldn't even qualify for the Olympics.

Personally I do think Deku is valid, he only put in hard work after one of the best quirks was handed to him on a silver platter, and after he lost it he completely abandoned his dream until he had an Iron Man suit handed to him on another silver platter
In defense for Deku on the first silver platter All Might had no intention giving it to him in the first place if it wasn’t for him risking his life trying to save Bakugo. Second one is valid though.
First off: What is training really hard but staying a normal human doing? Kid katsuki in middle school would be above deku no matter what simply because he has a good quirk and deku has none. The gap wouldn't change and he'd just end up a cop or firefighter like all might suggested. Second off: post war he already decided what he wanted to do once he lost the embers of OFA and that was to be a teacher to train the new generation of heroes with his skill, experience and knowledge
I feel like the Gohan argument for hard work falls apart when you look at Old Kai unlocking his power and all of Super Hero. Yeah he worked hard as a child but once he reached adulthood, bro got a fast pass to god power.
Saitama did a mild training routine for one year and became a God. It's been brought up time and again that he's actually done _less_ than many other heroes and yet gained infinite strength for no reason. A better example from the same series is Mumen Rider. He works his ass off, gets the tar kicked out of him all the time, and has *no superpowers* to show for it. Dude is just a man on a bike, and with more courage than Captain America.
@Yonkage-ik5qb You are absolutely wrong. Saitama trained to death fighting monsters 5 times stronger than himself. It didn't say what you said anywhere, bro. Before you say anything, read the "one punch men" thoroughly, or at least look at the wiki.
Gohan had it worse, my boy was 4 YEARS OLD left abandoned on a desert for 6 MONTHES with piccolo only giving him 2 apples and a sword, and after those 6 months he was getting his butt clapped cuz piccolo did NOT refrain from using blasts that heavily damages gohan, AND AFTER ALL OF THAT HARD TRAINING HE SAW PICCOLLO, YAMCHA, TIEN AND CHIAOTZU DIE RIGHT INFRONT OF HIM, and to make it worse krillin and hid dad (goku) got tortured infront of him, vegeta had broken every bone in him and gohan had to be hospitalized after, at just 5.5 years old he went to a different planet just to get every bone of his broken again and almost died until goku came, not to also mention he saw krillin also get destroyed and killed, he saw dende another kid he befriended get killed and saw piccolo DIE AGAIN right infront of him while protecting him And these are just 2 arcs my man went so much more like in the cell saga where he saw all of his friends get tortured and die AGAIN and almost die if it wasent for gokus spirit guiding gohan, in the buu saga he got killed and dragon ball super he was still tortured a bit but not as harsh as dragon ball z So ye, defenently a hardworking character... UNLIKE TRUNKS WHO GOT SSJ WHEN HE WAS 7 WITHOUT ANY TRAINING
I can’t deny that Tanjiro worked really hard but his body was suited for sun breathing, the strongest breathing possible, I think that has some talent to it
Every body is technically able to use Sun Breathing. It's just that nobody other than his family knew of it's existence, due to it being basically extinct
This is another situation. Where it's not just black & white. It is possible to be both gifted and hard-working, such as the case for Goku, Tanjiro, Asta Gojo, Ichigo, Naruto Deku, and Yuji
Sanji is one of the most gifted pure plot armor characters in anime he just happened to unlock every power he has and has never once trained like during the time skip all he was doing was cooking and running
Yuuji is one of the ones that are truly gifted Ignoring curse energy control, bro was literally breaking world records of physical feats without any particular training Sanji contrary to popular belief is actually quite gifted too, but not because of his exoskeleton. Remember that sanji and zoro are about equally matched in terms of power But we literally see zoro training his butt off on the ship, while sanji spends most of his time cooking and caring for nami and robin. So even if sanji was weaker than zoro, the fact that he can even put up a fight, while barely doing any training in comparison, says a lot
Naruto is a weird mix of Hard Work and Gifted. He has to train like most others, but he was also born to probably the most powerful clan in the verse, was born with a metric ass load of Chakra, had the strongest Tailed Beast sealed inside him, giving him even more Chakra, and he is the reincarnation of Ninja Jesus. Not to discredit his work mind you, he had to work hard due to the position he was placed in for his life. But let's be honest...if Naruto wasn't orphaned, or at least if Hiruzen actually fulfilled his damn promise to Minato, Naruto wouldn't have had to work hard a day in his life
Being a reincarnation doesn't really grant him anything. Hagoromo was the one who gave them their powers. Being reincarnations alone doesn't automatically mean they would be just as strong. And all those perks are things Naruto had to work hard to control which is why he's a mixture of both. And it's been stated several times that Naruto doesn't have talent, there's no conceivable way Naruto wouldn't have to work hard to achieve what he wants to achieve. He might work harder or lesser, that's irrelevant, he would have to work hard regardless.
@@Kiyokoji23 Yeah, I said he had to work hard due to the position he was given in life. I'm just saying if he had a somewhat normal childhood (Hiruzen!!!) him getting a massive amount of power probably would've been trivial at least. He worked hard cause he started at the bottom and had to crawl his way out of that pit. But if say he started somewhere near the middle of the totem pole, he probably would've ascended extremely fast
@@duskgaming18 yh but my point is that, even with that, Naruto would still have to actually train as well, he's not a prodigy neither is he talented. He would still have to work hard. Even prodigies like Itachi and Minato had to actually work hard as well.
The thing is, it's not because you are gifted that you don't work. It's juste that someone who isn't as gifted as you who work way harder than you to make it.

The perfect example of the "gifted kid" is Yuno from Black Clover. Always been perfect with magic since day one, gets a super special magic grimoire that no one else has, plus a fairy goddess that simps for him 24/7

Jujutsu Kaisen's power system relies on innate talent!

@@infernojaealso I am a huge fan and am quite shocked you actually replied
Yea of course the whole potential thing is seen with him and frieza but that’s not to disregard the work he put in still like with piccolo like with goku or trunks
I mean he is gifted, but (buu saga and everything after that aside) when he trained, he didn't train "a bit", he was trained by Piccolo for a year as a kid, then after Namek trained with Goku AND Piccolo and then trained for a whole year in the chamber with Goku, if he hadn't he wouldn't even have achieved super saiyan, let alone be as strong as Goku if not a little stronger, and then access his latent power with ssj2
Sometimes being gifted doesn't exclude having to work hard to use those powers
I think the problem with the Hard Work Vs Gifted debate is that more often than not people end comparing Hard Work Vs *Potential* rather than talent, and those are two things that you can't really compare
Look at Goku, for example, although in this one he's in the hard working category, I've seen many people call him gifted for the seamlessly endless saiyan potential (which is true), even though Goku has spent literal decades training and fighting to earn his current strength
They need to put meruem if anyone in gifted, that mf was literally born the strongest🙏🏾
Gohan, along with Trunks, Pan, Bulla, and Goten, are even more of an enigma since they're all human/saiyan hybrids.

Saitama literally worked so hair he broke his limiter and lost his hair 👊🔥
Saitama is both gifted and hardwork but way more gifted,he's a superhuman, his cells upgrade themselves way faster and doesn't have limits, let's not forget that he defeated a monster with just 2 years of training(I think)which is inhuman
@@inoroooSaitama was a loser in every aspect before beating Crablante

I’d say luffy is more Gifted than Hardworking since he learned how to fully control all 3 haki types in only 1.5 years that normally take way longer just to achieve one or two. Plus Garp said he was born with the power of conquerors haki. We barely see him train at all yet he continues to become stronger.
Tbf on luffy isn’t going on the brink of death to become stronger apart of the power system cause since the time skip after fishmen island he was fighting people way above him and surviving.
You forgot the fact that he trained 10 years to even properly use his df in a fight, thats more training than most on the hard work group
@@skywraith6454 I’m pretty sure we don’t know the exact amount of time it took, since the last we saw him at around 10 years old not having control and then at 17 with control. Yes he put effort into training but if you compare his growth from the start of the show till timeskip he becomes far stronger during a short 4 or 5 months, incomparably so to the 10 years since he got his devil fruit and then grew waaayyyy more during the 2 year timeskip and the couple months post timeskip that have passed. So while he has out in some decent effort to train, that effort pales in comparison to other characters while it’s obvious his natural talents have since then carried him much further
@@donotcare2181 you realize difference in type of training he did right? Look at goku, he was not even close to raditz after all years of training, then in 5 months with king kai he far surpassed nappa even, it is difference in training method and having a master, luffy trained with ace and alone that 10 years, and 1.5 years with rayleigh
@@skywraith6454 Exactly! Luffy barely got anywhere after 10 years then he set off on his journey and grew exponentially stronger in short period of time. In other words his hardwork for 10 years was less meaningful then the 2.5 years he spent since he started his journey. Luffy grew stronger quickly because he is a gifted fighter who now had real enemies, experience and training. Everyone on the list worked hard in some way but for characters like luffy the hardwork they put in wasn’t what allowed them to get so strong but was instead their own gifts.
The Hardwork vs Talent debate is genuinely so annoying it’s just an excuse so mfs can glaze their favorite characters and hate on other ones

Gohan doesn't train and gets washed, he trains for like a week and he's either the strongest or in the top 5. It's that or Gohan doesn't train, gets mad and instantly becomes number 1 in the verse.

Sanji powers literally awakened in wano. Before that he was just a normal human dude. Still he was the 3rd Strongest.
Gohan as a Kid had done a lot of training.
Naruto also had to train himself to actually control chakra.
The perfect example of gifted one is Yuno from Black clover or Frieza from Dragon ball.
Nah, Gohan is absolutely gifted. Let's not forget that at 4 years old he momentarily became the strongest character we've ever seen at that point in the show despite the fact that he had never even thrown a punch before
As someone who doesn’t even like Sanji all that much, Sanji is def more of a hard worker than he is gifted.
Remember, he didn’t even actually have his modifications or raid suit up until Whole Cake. Up until then, he was literally just a regular human being. Even without his modifications and suit I’m pretty sure he was stronger than the rest of his siblings.
i think people saying naruto is gifted is bc of the anime constantly stating "naruto has an immense chakra pool because of the uzumaki family and kurama inside him" and "naruto is the reincarnation of ashura, the son of kaguya"
Gohan is DEFINITELY gifted
Being a saiyan itself is a gift bro
Think if he was human would he have accomplish the power he have now
@@REI_VORTEXWell, Saitama did 💀
I swear if people start saying goku isn’t hard work, if it wasn’t for his hard work he would be a low class very weak saiyan, and while yes his saiyan potential helps him a little weve seen him surpass characters with much more potential with hard work, the saiyan saga is literally about hard work over natural talent and goku is the symbol of hard work in that arc
I dont think you understand this. The people in gifted also worked hard but hey just have that x factor you know and goku definetly does. The most egregious example of this is the super saiyan god ritual. This is a mega power boost ritual only saiyans can do that puts them on equal footing with gods. To say that this and zenkai boosts arent major gifts that goku has are just ignorant i dont see namekians getting this. But like this whole schtick is stupid all most all anime characters are gifted with something and work hard to bring their talent out
@@herdoman5169 The Zenkai thing is fair but the ssj god ritual was only possible because of Goku and the choices he made by sparring people, which he could only do through his hard work, the zenkai thing is valid tho, it’s just that they’re only a main player in one arc (namak) and at the beginning of the next arc piccolo is already on par with goku again

I actually think that Luffy is a good 50/50 here, i mean, He ate the Nika fruit, which literally makes his imagination come true making him the Sun God. But we CANNOT forget the 3 years timeskip that he had, trained with one of Gol. D Roger's most powerful pirates and right hand man, not to mention that the majority of the fight between him and Kaido was with Haki, which he gained alone by himself, and his physical strength too is all by himself.
So he isn't exactly gifted, not saying he is not, i mean he did beat Lucci BECAUSE of his fruit, but if you came to ask me if he was gifted or hardworking, would definitely say hardworking too
Ur forgetting he trained his whole childhood to make his fruit strong bc unawakened version is weak
Which is abt like 11 year bc I think he was like 6 or 7 when he started
Luffy literally had to Die to Achieve that level .
Deku had to train for 6 months just to get the power and even when he gets it he brakes apart of him every time. Hes not gifted hes hardworking. If you say hes gifted consider yourself a opp
Calling sanji gifted like it didn't take literally over a 1,000 chapters for his latent abilities to manifest, and the whole reason he has imo one of the most tragic backstories in the series imo (in a series known for its tragic backstories) is because he never manifested those latent abilities during his childhood.
Are we going to ignore that one chapter were he conveniently awakened his germa genes.
1000 chaptes my man whole story takes place in less than 3 years tho

Erm, no. He trained and fought to the death with opponents 5 times stronger than him. He achieved such power not because of his talents, but solely because of his hard work
@@faredark956 im just saying that the efforts he went through don’t justify how absurdly strong he is. Someone like mumen rider has been a hero for years and is willing to fight monsters 100s of times stronger than he, yet he is stuck in C class (could maybe be low B class). Guys like Bang have devoted their entire life to training, improving their skill and power while defeating countless monsters yet compared to Saitama they’re all nothing. Saitama was gifted his strength by having his limiter broken, something that no one else on the planet has even if they train longer and harder.
@turt1100
Have you ever read manga? Anyone in the OPM can break the limiter and become as strong as Saitama. I can give Garou as an example. He did the same thing as Saitama and started breaking the limiter six months later. That breaking your workout limiter is not enough. You need to literally be on the brink of death as often as possible and train in order to become stronger. Mumen rider cannot become stronger because he does not train and does not want to become stronger, only to protect people. People who do not have a goal to develop in OPM will never become strong, and even more so they are not able to break their limiter. This makes Saitama and Garou special.

Imma be real putting ichigo in gifted is an insult and a half to the man.
Yeah he has a bit of every race in him, and I can’t deny that.
@@IsntmypfpdisgustingHe wouldnt have had into a dangerous situation that he could have die if not becuz that OMZ is holding his powers back, and the top of that, his Shinigami combat pass is limiting his strength and only releasing 20% or might be even lower lvl of his already limited power, although yes he got saved becuz White released some of his real power.

Personally I do think Deku is valid, he only put in hard work after one of the best quirks was handed to him on a silver platter, and after he lost it he completely abandoned his dream until he had an Iron Man suit handed to him on another silver platter
He trained for 10 months before he ever got the quirk
How he abandon his dream when he was a teacher at UA trying to train the youth to become great heroes
In defense for Deku on the first silver platter All Might had no intention giving it to him in the first place if it wasn’t for him risking his life trying to save Bakugo. Second one is valid though.
First off:
What is training really hard but staying a normal human doing? Kid katsuki in middle school would be above deku no matter what simply because he has a good quirk and deku has none.
The gap wouldn't change and he'd just end up a cop or firefighter like all might suggested.
Second off:
post war he already decided what he wanted to do once he lost the embers of OFA and that was to be a teacher to train the new generation of heroes with his skill, experience and knowledge
@@EmmzMC he went to the GYM for 10 months and is hard working? He cannot be compared to the above 8 so he must go to gifted

Asta and Yuno are the perfect representation of Hard Work and gifted
I agree especially for Yuki bro had one of the craziest traumas ever

Deku quit literally from a npc to the mc.
@Yonkage-ik5qb
You are absolutely wrong. Saitama trained to death fighting monsters 5 times stronger than himself. It didn't say what you said anywhere, bro. Before you say anything, read the "one punch men" thoroughly, or at least look at the wiki.

I must say this breaking the limiter is broken
Gohan had it worse, my boy was 4 YEARS OLD left abandoned on a desert for 6 MONTHES with piccolo only giving him 2 apples and a sword, and after those 6 months he was getting his butt clapped cuz piccolo did NOT refrain from using blasts that heavily damages gohan, AND AFTER ALL OF THAT HARD TRAINING HE SAW PICCOLLO, YAMCHA, TIEN AND CHIAOTZU DIE RIGHT INFRONT OF HIM, and to make it worse krillin and hid dad (goku) got tortured infront of him, vegeta had broken every bone in him and gohan had to be hospitalized after, at just 5.5 years old he went to a different planet just to get every bone of his broken again and almost died until goku came, not to also mention he saw krillin also get destroyed and killed, he saw dende another kid he befriended get killed and saw piccolo DIE AGAIN right infront of him while protecting him
And these are just 2 arcs my man went so much more like in the cell saga where he saw all of his friends get tortured and die AGAIN and almost die if it wasent for gokus spirit guiding gohan, in the buu saga he got killed and dragon ball super he was still tortured a bit but not as harsh as dragon ball z
So ye, defenently a hardworking character... UNLIKE TRUNKS WHO GOT SSJ WHEN HE WAS 7 WITHOUT ANY TRAINING
"Trained his BOTTOM OFF" Bro did not have to say that😭🙏🏻
I can’t deny that Tanjiro worked really hard but his body was suited for sun breathing, the strongest breathing possible, I think that has some talent to it
Every body is technically able to use Sun Breathing.
Yuuji is one of the ones that are truly gifted
Ignoring curse energy control, bro was literally breaking world records of physical feats without any particular training
Sanji contrary to popular belief is actually quite gifted too, but not because of his exoskeleton.
Remember that sanji and zoro are about equally matched in terms of power
But we literally see zoro training his butt off on the ship, while sanji spends most of his time cooking and caring for nami and robin. So even if sanji was weaker than zoro, the fact that he can even put up a fight, while barely doing any training in comparison, says a lot
I mean ichigo got gifted with every kind of race on the verse so hes definitely pretty gifted
Every character is a blend of hard work and gifted in some way
Gohan has had his potential magically unlocked multiple times. Thats pretty gifted

@@duskgaming18 yh but my point is that, even with that, Naruto would still have to actually train as well, he's not a prodigy neither is he talented.
