Hello, great video, thanks. But I would have liked to see the whole set up, because "following the pop ups" at least in my device was not that straight forward. Also, it is impossible for me to use the direct connection (so take my selphy to the party and print without WIFI) - I have followed all the instructions on the manual to the T and all seems to work, except the direct connection network address on my iPhone shows (no internet connection, which is ok, fine), but then, when I try to print from the app, I have a pop up asking to join NOT the direct connection network, but the usual one - with the Q in the end, which was visible also in your video and which is used when printing when connected to the wifi. I spent an hour with a canon representative and they have no idea what's wrong, so... any ideas and a video with the whole setup would be nice.
Is there a way to not have the edges of the photo go past the tearable parts? Be a shame to have a perfectly composed image lose some information even though it's a little bit.
Bleed is the area at the edges that print over the actual 4x6 size so that you don’t need up w a white line at the edges of your photos. Printing is not a perfect thing-so printers are set up to over print by an eighth or quarter of an inch on most professional printers so as to get the full photo in the 4x6 and not have it shift and leave white edges.
Bleed is the printer’s fix for keeping the photo from shifting and leaving a white edge along the sides. Set up to “bleed”over the edges to ensure whole 4x6 is covered w the photo. If the printer shifts the print, it would not hit the edge, leaving white border along it, so this is to keep that from happening. Imagine holding a spray can up and painting the edges and not getting any overspray on the table or grass. Would end up with white lines along sides where spray missed and didn’t cover. Same exact thing. Spray off the side, which covers the edges.
What do I do if it’s telling me wrong ink size wrong paper size when it was working w the same exact paper a few days ago now it’s not … anyone else had that problem and possibly have a solution?
Indeed! My first thought was “forget the touchscreen!” Wouldn’t want to see the price jump up. Touchscreen on the phone should be enough? The price point and ease of use has my interest to consider buying.
Excellent review! Quick, clear and precise…appreciate the closeup view of the printer and functions.
Thanks
Nice video. I just brought one of these for my wife for Christmas.
Ha I did the same thing! Hope our wives will like it. Cheers from Poland!
Da pra imprimir direto do celular. Na função Air print. Direto da foto Pra ser mais rápido a impressão

hi, how can I change size paper into 4x6? the japanese is not the same , is similar and the photo on paper is printed a little bit smaller
I’m a bit late to this but noticed you have a Vectrex in the background wow! I’ve just bought this printer looking forward to using it. 👍🏾
Update please
Excellent review, thanks the best I've seen.
I use the 4x6 kp108IN paper im pretty sure, should i get the paper featured in this video instead? Is it better quality?
Is there any advantage to a regular inkjet printer? Do they have more quality?
Yes, I prefer them over inkjet. No real drying time with this type of printing and more consistent.
@@TheComputerLab Thanks!
I strongly feel that ink jet printers have the highest quality.

Can you use the prints as heat transfers for coffee mugs to print?
Not that I know of.
Does this model more easily connect to Wi-Fi than the previous one? Any restrictions to the Wi-Fi password?
All seems ok but it does swap from local WiFi to peer to peer WiFi depending on what your printing
Can you adjust the color on faces? My photo came out dark around the eyes and nose.
Well done!👍
Hey thanks
Hello, can I choose what type of finish the photo will print into? (Glossy/matte/semi-matte) and can I use other photo papers other than canon?
Hey, yes you can choose the finish - but don’t think you can get papers from other suppliers yet as you get the papers as well as the ink.

What are bleed areas. I actually crop photo???

Great printer!!!😊

How many photos can be printed with one cartridge?
36
Thanks a lot for the video!!! Does anyone know the purpose of the bleed areas?

Are there similar printers you recommend checking out?
Have you tried using it with the battery?
What do I do if it’s telling me wrong ink size wrong paper size when it was working w the same exact paper a few days ago now it’s not … anyone else had that problem and possibly have a solution?
Did you fix this is usually means the printer is reading the cartridge wrong (if you definitely have the correct ink in for the paper type)
If you dont have a wifi connection, can you connect your phone to the printer via usb type c cable and just print directly?
Yes
What is the SD card for if you are printing directly from your phone?
Hey the SD card is for printing direct to printer from the SD card maybe out of a DLSR.
How many prints can you do on a single cartridge?
36 prints and the paper is 18 per pack That 3 ink times 36=108 6 packs of paper =108
Hi make video for id photo
It's a 100 bucks, you really expect a touch screen?
Yeah I agree
