Yup. Lucinda is my era. Let your horse see its strides and it give them so much in the way of smarts around a course. Be able to ride on the buckle and create a truly independent seat. Max is a talent. Loving your work with him.
Me too. I've got an old photo of me jumping proper 'old English lavatorial' style, reins so long they used to call me 'Dangle' Funny watching these youngsters unlearning the forward seat and tight grip

That was absolutely fascinating to watch! Trot jump walk jump look difficult but only because you see fence you think canter and so does the horse. There are events in the USA where mules jump from a walk or a full stop, up to about 4ft or 1.2 metres so it can be done😉 Floppy Canter was also interesting. That next lesson where the point is the horse has no clue as to the lines was brilliant... Grand at the water...👍👍👍
