"Every time Catherine revved up the microwave, I'd piss my pants and forget who I was for a half hour or so." --Cousin Eddie, on why he had to get a new plate in his head
This is the ultimate Christmas comedy with non-stop laughs. There's nothing to interpret or analyze in the actors' behaviour. It's all about chaos and having fun. 😁 Even more than 30 years after the film's release, the humor is still top-notch, and the great actors are always a lot of fun in 2025.
It was nice to hear how much you appreciate your family and Clark's desire to give his the best Christmas possible. Kudos to your parents for raising a daughter who knows what's important. Merry Christmas.
Thank you for the reaction. I especially love to watch millennials and GenZ’s watch comedies from back in the 80s and early 90s. Love watching your look on your face like “I can’t believe they just said that.” 😂😂😂. Just enjoy the comedies without judgment only then can you appreciate how funny they actually are
Hi Colette: You are so charming and I wish you a Merry Christmas and may 2025 be nothing but blessings for you and your family. 🎄 P.S.. Your dogs are so adorable.
I’m hoping when I get married and have kids that I won’t turn into this dad on Christmas, but I have a feeling I will. Especially when I wear my glasses. 🤓🎄😂❤
A classic everyone watches each year. ... Colette, have you seen "While you were Sleeping" with Sandra Bullock? It's one of my favorite Christmas ROM-COM's and I think you would enjoy it. Its part of my yearly rotation of holiday movies.
It's a Wonderful Life was our family's Thanksgiving tradition. But because my father died two weeks before Thanksgiving this year, it just didn't feel right.
Every Christmas gathering should have someone in a blue leisure suit and someone who recites the pledge of allegiance instead of grace. It just makes sense.
This movie has been a tradition in my parents house for almost twenty years. It’s played Thanksgiving Day after we’ve all eaten, we play it Christmas Eve when we open our gifts and Christmas Day, then all through the season it’s a never ending text chain of quotes from the movie and gifs! I’m glad you watched it and enjoyed it!
Love this movie, watched it every year since I was little every year, I'm 28 now and we still love to watch it with my parents I feel like it's really a hidden gem. :-D
DID YOU KNOW that there was supposed to be a different ending where the flying santa and reindeer decorations were supposed to go through the neighbors roof and crash into their bedroom where they are making up?
Hey hey! Love your content! Yes, All the tears and All the laughs together. Have you done or are you going to do a Demon Slayer watch-through? Please and Thank You! It would be awesome!
I noticed a young Juliet Lewis is in this film, she started dating an unknown actor, Brad Pitt when Vacation was released. Brad had his breakout role 2 years later in Thelma and Louise. Let's not worry about the age thing
Because of the guy that you said reminds you of your "pop pop"... I recommend reacting to the movie "Major Payne" Because he is in it and I think everyone on your channel would love to see that reaction! Love you, Collette! ❤❤
Ellen Griswold is a low-key zen master. And, as someone who also lives in the Midwest, putting in a pool is so impractical for a family that lives in Chicago. They're only going to be able to use that thing one or twoo months out of rhe whole year, MAYBE three if someone sticks a magnifying glass in front of the sun that particular year.
You should watch Elf, Scrooged, Home Alone, Jingle All the Way, The Santa Clause, Jack Frost, A Christmas Story, Santa Clause the movie, The Polar Express

You should watch and compare and contrast How the Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carey, Dr. Seuss the Grinch from Illumination, and the original animated How the Grinch stole Christmas from the 60’s
How did Johnny Galecki go from cute kid to massive pumpkin headed Leonard?! He looks like 3 completely different people in this, Rosanne and Big Bang Theory. Just a thought.
My favorite Xmas movie! Me and my fam watch this every year. It’s not Xmas unless we watch this! Just curious where your family is from on the east coast?
I said this before....after Christmas can you please comment on 2 of my favorite movies: Cinderella Man and Me Before You? Hard not to love these movies. Makes you appreciate life. Thanks!
Since its December Here are some Christmas movies for you guys to watch and react to TIM ALLENS THE SANTA CLAUSE 1,2,3, PRANCER 1989, JACKFROST 1998, FRED CLAUSE 2007, HOME ALONE 1,2.
I almost wish I didn't know what a pill Chevy Chase is in real life, because I really enjoy films like this/Fletch etc. virtually everybody who has worked with him has a story about him being openly hostile.
Colette I wanna say; you a true sweet-eyes glowin Mrs Santa yourself🏵🏵🏵🏵🏵 Do a reaction to How The Grinch Stole Christmas from 2000 It's with Jim Carrey as the Grinch and the film based on the original novel
Little Princess, I always enjoy your reactions. What puts yours above the others I see is, you seem to have a better understanding of the situations and set ups in movies that I have seen.
First time I watched you I enjoyed your show. It’s not so much that he’s fantasizing about the other women. It’s that being a middle-aged guy. He likes to feel like he still has sex appeal, even to younger women.
Sounds like you are back home on the east coast for the holidays with your family. You are fortunate to have a father who would read Christmas stories to you and your siblings growing up. Here is So Cal it is too warm to feel like Christmas. Enjoy your time with your family and cherish your time with them. Hugs and Merry Christmas.
It's great for just being a break from the norm. And Chevy showing his physical comedy acting skills for that matter. That whole scene on the ladder for example. Great work.

Fun reaction. Kept me entertained as I wrapped up the last of the presents for tomorrow. Merry Christmas! :)
I’m hoping when I get married and have kids that I won’t turn into this dad on Christmas, but I have a feeling I will. Especially when I wear my glasses. 🤓🎄😂❤
His flirting with the mall girl was hilarious!
It's a bit nipply out. 🤣
@ yep, hilarious. Many girl reactions to this movie edit that out, unfortunately!
According to the DVD commentary, he ad libbed every line in that scene. Phenomenal!
The girl is named Nicolette Scorsese. No, she is not related to Marty Scorsese.
@@darthken815I still say "nipply out" when talking about how cold it is.

XD I CRIED FROM LAUGHING 😂😂😂😂
What a lovely dress you wearing
"You can hire people to do that" How to say you grew up in a rich household without actually saying it?
he shouldn’t be risking his life on the roof by himself doing a job that one man shouldn’t do. He should hire help so he doesn’t die
It's a Wonderful Life was our family's Thanksgiving tradition. But because my father died two weeks before Thanksgiving this year, it just didn't feel right.
Hey 👋 Loved this watch along 😂 thanks! & when u were copying the kiss blowing & the finger calling if I could climb inside my tv i would’ve ❤

💜💜 Colette, you look amazing in this dress!
You are a truly beautiful woman! 💜💜
If you think this was a crack up, I recommend checking out the first Vacation movie from 1983.

The $7,500 downpayment on the pool would be $20,000 in today's money.
The boss is brian Murray, Bill Murray brother....first started out together in, Caddy shack!
Your smile lights up the internet. Love you more than a friend.

Rusty should have said- the last time I saw you overdo anything was… at the department store! And the Christmas tree lot
Honestly, she’s been letting her Manhattan accent fly lately. Cool. More Shiba!

I feel bad for the neighbors.

Now that was fun Colette. Loved your reaction, your outfit and your pups. Play Ball! Merry Christmas
Great reaction to this movie !!👍
Hi Colette You look really nice pretty in red love it❤❤❤❤
I love how he’s always casually kidnapping people in these movies.
I could swear you and your dogs did the cover over the Pajamagram Christmas magazine last year. Was it you? If not, it's a hell of a similarity.
You look gorgeous. The gloves are a nice touch.
Die hard and christmas vacation are only 2 christmas movies i can watch any time of the year

Oh man, this is an American Christmas Classic (for the PF-13 crowd.)
You should watch Duel!!
The National Lampoon movies are such a fun time. They hold so much nostalgia. This is probably my favorite out of them
Thanks for the reaction to this classic and Merry Christmas 😊
Paying someone to hang your Christmas stuff was definitely not a thing.
6:06 - I had that "Taz the Tazmanian Devil" mug as a kid, lol. Loved that thing.
Maybe a la takedown/heat back to back would b cool👍
John Hughes van fo no wrong!

You remind me of the French-Canadian celebrity known as Maripier Morin.
I wouldn't mind unwrapping Colette on Christmas!
*sqUIRRRREL!!!!*
8:35 OUCH!!! "under 10"???? Johnny was 13 or so when this was made, lol.

Any snow back east where you are located?
You're like the best
You look amazing. You're really funny and sweet too. Hope you have a good Christmas and happy new year.
The guy whom plays the boss is also the voice of the Flying Dutchman from SpongeBob
It's great for just being a break from the norm. And Chevy showing his physical comedy acting skills for that matter. That whole scene on the ladder for example. Great work.
One of my favorite Christmas movies! Always love seeing your reactions!
You look amazing 😍 Just gorgeous
Fun fact: John Hughes who wrote this movie also wrote the scripts for Home Alone 1 and 2.
I will argue with you..."Die Hard" is the greatest Christmas ever. "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" is the best Thanksgiving move all time.
what did you do to your lips and nose?
Can't see the line can you Russ?!
His scene with the sales girl.... amazing!
Like they say ,"Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing " ; I don't know who they are, but that's what they say ! 😁
