If you watch the replay in slow motion (.25) speed, you can see he flicks up the ball from in bounds, and he doesn't touch it again until it lands it lands on the line (in bounds). There's no way it went completely out, even if it deflected off the defenders legs, because he doesn't touch it until it lands in bounds. And the second shot at 1:13:16 you can tell his touch is in bounds which means it never went out. It's a bad camera angle for judging whether or not the ball went out. When the ball is flicked up it looks like it goes out of bands, but it doesn't.
