Live steam Markie Road Engine traction engine restored

This one came to us as a bit of a mess - even with rust in the water tanks - but as usual Dave "the Steam" came to the rescue with a resto! Apart from a good swill out and clean up, the cylinder assembly was completely dismantled and each piece machine-polished before the engine was re-timed. The canopy was tarted up, repainted and LED lighting was added. The front lights were made to work too, a whistle added, a coal load and wooden scuttle foot plate added, reg. numbers added too and I am sure loads of other stuff which we have forgotten about. Yes, but the big end being brass means it will wear relatively quickly. Steel would have been a far better choice of material,

Update: This engine now sits just a few feet behind me. I intend (hope) to have it in steam shortly. At the price I robbed you blind!
