At best someone will buy it to feel good about themselves, which is great, but they will probably only buy THE ONE BRA to feel good and then by affordable bras the rest of the time. So it is not sustainable at that price point, especially if you have no money after going through chemo or surgery for breast cancer.
Post-op bras is a charity, not a business. They are trying to achieve a public good, so they should be getting donations and not investment. I think Touker is absolutely right.

i know its a noble cause (breast cancer), but 3 years of product development, cleverly designed but no design protection means there's nothing new that can be protected.Most of the medical products have endorsements from medical fraternity, that is missing here. Fashion and clothes do have patented technology, that's how designers/brands make money.
