Kazuki Kazuma Try using Bucky, Im not sure about the synergy since I don't play ryu but Bucky can definitely help ryu get in with projectiles which can help.

You forgot to mention that you can dash cancel Ryu's charged Hadoken while on the ground. You do so by double tapping forward or back while holding the charge button. This is important to know, since it can greatly reduces how vulnerable he can be while preparing the attack if you need to go on the defensive during it and it lets you cancel out of it if the target moves out of range, etc..
Cool video. I just got to rank 10 using Ryu and Frank West. Great synergy getting Frank to level 5. Super easy to get tatsu loops off of the chainsaws and zombie throws. I hope you do a couple of Frank videos soon!!
I did make a frank video a month or so ago detailing the exact breakdown of levelups/photos and the like. Although you main frank I am sure you know all his particulars.
Ryu has great unblockable overhead switch set ups that pretty much work for anybody in the game which people don’t utilize enough. He can also dash out of his charge up hadoken lol irrelevant but anything to help my boy Ryu Great video again

I am a huge fan of your videos and kinda wanna request one if you let me?Can you do a video about juggling your opponent?Long time mk player here and this is my first marvel game.How to land those loops and combos(chun-li or spiderman for example)?I can barely hit them more then 4 times before falling down.I know anout jumping and dashing in the air but please...(doctor strange's voice)teach me.
Well a big thing is simply speed and timing. Concepts like that I can't really put to a video as something like the chunli and spiderman ones, the timing is super important to the combo. On those if you are practicing it I would suggest using the slowdown feature on the youtube player so you can really take in when the button presses are(whole reason I leave inputs on in the videos). Combo structure in marvel is very different than MK so it does take some getting used to.

Ryu had the j.lk and that's a better tool than anything anyone else had except maybe chun's IALL, and ryu crushed chun in the matchup cause she can't deal with fireballs due to her crappy jump and unless she has trigger cr.mp from her is a crappy deterent. Ryu was #1 with a bullet. Charlie and mika had nothing on him and Karin is not even in the conversation.

Ryu was the best character pound for pound in season 1 of sf5. S2 the reactionary nerfs got him but I believe he will be a powerhouse again in s3.
