  • These are the complete Lorestone stories of the Northmen, as told by Druth. Including the slightly extended "Druth" ending. Naturally there are Spoilers.
    🦅 Chapters:
    0:25 Road to the gate.
    3:12 Valravn Path.
    6:18 Surt Path.
    9:03 Bridge Path.
    10:09 Beach.
    14:53 Sword Trials - Northman Stories.
    15:22 Sword Trials - Labyrinth - Tyrfing .
    18:18 Sword Trials - Tower - Baldr.
    23:26 Sword Trials - Swamp - Plague.
    25:20 The Mountain.
    29:49 Volcano.
    32:35 Druth (Extended Ending).
    Apologies for the delay in uploading this; I hit a small snag with the audio where I was unable to get some of the speech due to the voice in Senua's head talking over the Lorsestones. I had to wizard them out and then piece together the audio with the pieces of footage I already had,so it took slightly longer than I expected and wanted.
    Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is an emotional and mental journey through the mind and hell of Senua, a Pict woman, suffering from Psychosis, set amidst rich Celtic and Norse lore.
    Best viewed through a headset with surround sound capability.

    Druth kinda reminds me of Virgil from Dantes inferno. Both are guides to the protagonist while they both descend into the underworld.

    The last one wouldn't play for me, and honestly, I'm so mad because that's the best one. The actor for Druth made me feel his terror and sorrow. The only time he's ever shown fear is in that last rune and that's why it's so terrifying to me

    Funny how it is actually her father who led the northmen to their village. That's the extra you unlock if you "activate" most of the lorestones.

    I just love the fact that this lore is actually accurate to what is known to be Greek mythology of the gods and events that supposedly occurred. The stories really put to rest the God of War video-game narrative about Kratos, as he was not a God of War, not even close.

    1-Should have recorded them with subtitles, but thanks anyway, good video.
    2-I was kinda bummed that they didnt explain the concept of the World Tree.

    • @OrangeEagle
      @OrangeEagle  6 лет назад +17

      Aye, that was a hindsight on my part but I will have to remember next time I do a similar one.
      And yes, they explained the basics of the realms in one of the first ones but not much about how they're all intertwined. My theory is the stories are more connected to Senua herself.

    • @TheReaper569
      @TheReaper569 5 лет назад +9

      i study norse mythos.
      Yggdrasil is the world tree, its roots go to the deepest of the deep, its branches reach to the highests of peaks, it is fed by 3 wells, from niffleheim a dragon eats at its roots, from jotunheim a fountain feeds it, and from asgard, the well of urd, and 3 sisters guard it (norns)
      at its branches snakes go by, and 4 deers walk arround. at its top a raven sits, at the middle in branches a squirrle, the squirrle carries gossip of the dragon at the roots and the raven at the tops, but lies to each to make them angry at each other, he enjoys the mischief.
      Sorry for terrible spell

    So, the man in black who backstabbed his kin, was Senua's father?

    • @piratetv1
      @piratetv1 3 года назад +12

      Yes. He's the doubting voice in her head. He killed her mother thinking she was cursed. He later lead the northmen to his own village sacrificing all of his people to break a perceived curse. Senua ran to the forest to cure her own curse, by doing that she met Druth/Finden, and lived to go on her journey to learn her own truth
