"He does love you, how could he not." Jane says it so softly, so sweet.

The transition between the first and second scenes is the whole show honestly

Have you known any woman who'd let a guy do that if she's not okay with being his queen/princess

Awww..... The dancing scene, full of tenderness, they don't even had that kind of romantic scenes in Season 7 after they confirmed their relationship😢😢😢

They did dance again though. This time Lisbon wants funny business. 🥰
There were many tender scenes in 7, though!

(At 8:42) I think it's not a coincidence that they used this song "More than Words" and highlighted these specific words "How easy, it would be to show me how you feel, More than words is all you have to do to make it real, Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me, 'Cause I'd already know." I think Patrick was doing what the words were saying, showing Teresa that he liked her.

The song they danced to is such a good pick to symbolize their relationship!

What did Bosco whisper to Jane? It was never revisited. A writer mentioned that what Jane told Lisbon was a lie. We heard the part about not letting RJ live. So my guess is Bosco may have said some personal insults to Jane, still not liking him even as he was dying.

these dialogues, although intresting, are so unnatural for everyday speech!
they are too pretentiosly intellectual, overdone.
people don`t talk like that all the time, afaik.
and the script doesn`t exactly reflect real life: it`s also a bit unnatural,
    although captivating to watch. :)

Writing is not real life. Humans don’t have arcs. Humans relapse and say the wrong things, they correct themselves, then they bite their own asses later anyway. If shows like these emulated exactly what we go through then they’d be human, but they’re not. They’re characters. They have stories that have to be wrapped perfectly or well enough. They can be human, like feeling joy or hatred, but they need to be regulated. They don’t falter in their values and core beliefs, because they’re written with those in mind. Us? We don’t know who we are, even our therapists are trying to find out for us, but these characters have a path written for them. If they are unbalanced, then they falter. I know this sounds too absolute and concrete, but characters don’t have to talk like us in real life to be valid. They live a different eat reality than we do, a world was crafted FOR them, and the world’s events are centered and shaped around their actions. Our world doesn’t alter dramatically in a cinematographic angle to perfectly encapsulate how the protagonist feels. That’s the difference.
Also, there’s nothing wrong with shows that write their dialogue like we would have in real life, but that’s a whole genre itself. If this show can still explore what makes us wake up everyday and fight despite losing everything, without having to resort to that kind of writing, then I’m satisfied, yk?
Also also, Jane is very much NOT normal. The show definitely established that every episode with how everyone around him reacts to his shenanigans. Thanks for reading
