Brilliant! Thank you for uploading. I remember when the State ODI comp was sponsored by McDonald's. They used to put a poster on the tray at Maccas that featured the three teams in the B&H World Series Cup for that season.
@@anonymousilluminati5717 Yeah, the tray mats were free. A piece of paper under your food featuring team photos of each competing country. The calendars and posters were a different story. I used to collect them. Wish I still had them.
Anyone notice Steve Waugh at second slip in the early overs and not Mark Waugh. So many players back in that era didn’t bat without caps or helmets including Mark Waugh who during his 372 game international career only batted with helmet except 2-3 times on extreme hot days where he use a floppy hat. This Graham Smith played 13 one day games and not a single first class game back when the states played 2-4 games a year and maybe a tour game as well. He looked much older than 24 which he turned in 1998. Neither John Dyson or the original Steve Smith in the 12 yet both played a lot of shield that season. Those cricket bats must have felt like toothpicks.

No they weren't, bloody free. Those were 10c each, if u wanted them. And the calendars were 40c.

@@dannypinnWell, u said posters originally. Not photos. It's like as if you're talking about something else.
Nice to see footage of Trevor Bayliss who is very active in the coaching arena.
Outstanding!! If you can find the Semi Final where Denis Hickey went through WA it’d be great

Great Job Mate Keep It Up
I knew about the orange ball for the start of the day night Sheffield shield trials but I didn’t know they were used for one day cricket.
You got any footage of NSW vs TAS 1988 McDonalds Cup or FAI cup 1989
The best channel on RUclips
What colour ball are they using
Orange.
Dougie Walters in commentary!
Hokey is now killing it off the field with a plethora of childcare centres.
1996 shield final please
Ask Robelinda‼️
How come David Hookes didn't play for Australia throughout most of the 80s?
He clearly had the talent and ability, but his national record was rubbish. He just didn't make the most of his opportunities at the top level.
Unfortunately as a great batsman as he was he was too inconsistent
Didn’t wear a blue cap
25:26 Greg Dyer is a gentleman to fess up to that. Ian Chappell as usual is not.
One of the worst batting displays by a South Australian team.
