This is so beautiful and heartwarming! So many animals go uncared for because they're not particularly fuzzy or cute. I'm so glad that this person has this heart. And yes, I'm a broken record about it and I'll never stop- I always push the fact in any situation, you must always, always, always do your research on a pet before you obtain it! There is no shame in knowing how to take care of a creature adequately at the very least. But there is shame and not knowing how to take care of a creature you took the responsibility of. God Bless this person and all of her endeavors 🤍
I've had hermit crabs before and they do require specific kinds of care and they're fun to have. And they're cute in a weird sort of way! They deserve proper care just like any other animals we choose to bring into our homes. It's not asking too much to give them that care. Thank you for helping these guys out and giving them a good life! 🐚🐚🦀❤
The greatest, most noble and sacred deed one cam do is helping other living beings through Kindness, Compassion, Generosity and Respect. God bless this angelic woman.
It was beyond fate that of all the people in the world that came across them it was you! Thank you for giving these cute little guys the absolute best life they could possibly have. Thank you for your big heart!
Agree that research is very important, even if you do basic research (enclosure requirements, diet and common health issues are a must to know before getting any pet) before you get the pet then learn all you can while you learn with your pet (I admit I take this one literally, I'm someone who will find every book I can on the pet I'm keeping and also do web searches and read as many articles as poss so I know as much as possible, probably why I own literally hundreds of books on pet keeping alone and yes I've read them all)
Wow ive heard about whishing for cats and them apearing but whishing for crabs! What are the chances of this happening? These little guys definitely were found by the right person ❤
Thank you to Ariel for realising that every life, no matter how small, matters.❤️ Her crabs were so lucky that she came across them that day, suffering in that tank and in their painted shells, and knew exactly what they needed. They're definitely living their best lives now.🥰
Me hace feliz que haya personas que también dediquen tiempo y cuidados a criaturas que no son las más "valoradas" ni conocidas pero que, como todas, también merecen nuestro respeto y atencion❤
Alot of people think what they see and sell at these stores on boardwalk is all you need. Completely wrong. It's the opposite of what they really need. Do your research.
So beautiful, thank you for saving them. The amount of casual cruelty that some people inflict on other sentient beings hurts my heart but knowing there are kind people like the woman in this video also gives hope for humanity...
Its amazing how people can shove a creature into a xage and call it well cared for without actually taking the time to research what to give for them to be happy, healthy, and LIVING!
Hermit crabs cannot be bred in captivity, so every one you see in a shop has been harvested from the wild. If people knew what these poor creatures go through to get them into these stupid painted shells they would never buy them. I'm so glad the crab "fad" that was going on years ago is now over. Bless this woman for helping them out.
It is horrible that they are placed in painted shells so that people can profit off of them. Not only are the shells toxi c, but a lot are killed during the process
Thank you so much for this very informative video. I really appreciate how you rescued these little crabs and gave them everything they need to survive and thrive. I am thinking that there are not too many people who see these little crabs as beings that are worthy of love and respect, and not just throw-away pets you buy your kids on vacation. Thank you for your sweet, caring heart❤
I absolutely love this! Thank you Ariel for the amazing new home. “As the universe would have it” Beautiful ❤I lol’d at crab playing with rubber duck. Professionally done setup, I wanna crawl in there!
PSA: These animals can live a couple decades or more. Please stop buying animals without doing any kind of research on them. Goldfish get huge, hermit crabs live basically forever, and pythons get huge depending on the type. These are commitments, sometimes lifelong.
I know this is irrelevant and not the point of this heartwarming and wholesome story... but if Ariel has never had a hermit crab named Sebastian, I will be furious 😅😂 Happy new year, everyone 💚 wishing you all the best for 2025 😊
This was so sweet 🥹 I hate that people view animals as disposable things; they’re living beings created in the same image as us. All life deserves humane treatment ✨
THESE CRAFTY CRABS ARE GOING TO GET A CHANCE TO PICK OUT THEIR OWN FULL( NOT HALF) SHELLS!! SO COOL OF THEM!! THEY DESERVE LOVE TOO!! LOVE TO SEE THESE THINGS HAPPEN!!
As a fellow hermit crab owner this is amazing! But i would do a small thing for 30 days to regain their strength and all of that until u get them a bigger thing for more and more and more
There is a guy who has a channel here I think, he goes to polluted beaches where crabs use bottle caps etc for shells, as there are no real ones. He brings them real ones and a wide selection too, so they can shop.
They lay their eggs in the water and grow up there, and then some species come on land full time after that. A bit like toads. Some stay on the shore and go back and forth. And then there's Coconut Crabs, which grow gigantic, leave the shell behind, and climb trees because they don't care what we think a crab is.
For some reason, I want hermit crabs desperately, but I've heard that you shouldn't buy them bc of how cruel the industry is. I'd have to adopt them. Maybe someone will leave some nearby? 😅 Glad she found them, and is spoiling them so much, it looks like she's having as much fun as they are ☺️
Beautiful. Glad they found someone who cares.
Boy, did those little crabs win the lottery with Ariel! Love how much care you're giving them.
This lady is a sweetheart! She really knows what she's doing. The crabs are living their best life.
What cool little guys! And found the perfect person to keep them safe and healthy too.
Parents, animals are not toys.
Thank You! Well said!
From your keyboard to the world, my friend. From your keyboard to the world.
How fascinating that enclosure you've made. Well Done.

I'm glad their personalities started showing. Sounds like they're really coming out of their shells.
I refuse to encourage this >.>

Aww what a cute little crabitat!
Thank you for looking after the little fellas!
From shell shock, to shell shop! Wishing them a long and lovely life! :D
Hear, hear! Knowing what you're getting into is absolutely essential! Those poor crabs got very lucky by being found by her.
They look so happy!

They definitely came out of their shell after the rescue
I see what you did there!
Very interesting video, not often you see someone so aware about crabs and there needs, good for her....
Exactly! You spoke my feelings
What beautiful Sentient beings. Bless you for giving them a chance.😊
Well I certainly was educated today while watching this video. Who knew people rescued hermit crabs? New shells and they climbed right in. Awesome!
No matter how much we love to collect shells on the beach it’s important to leave them so that these guys can upgrade to new homes
That is the coolest and sweetest thing. I had no idea about this kind of pet.
Poor little souls You are the best of humanity ❤️
I love the colors of their shells. It's such a big world out there for these little guys😊
cute little crabs. ^^ they look very relaxed, now.

The hermie playing with the rubber ducky in the water dish killed me XD soooooo cute!
I never thought I could find a crustacean cute until I watched this video
Me too!🎉

@@BM-if9znvery true indeed!
That's so cool and heartwarming at the same time. Thanks so much for rescuing them! 💖🐚 Love the term " shell shopping"! 😉😀
Bless them ❤❤ glad they found someone nice
Keep up the good work with educating people about pets like this! I'd really like to see a ban on the sale of hermit crabs and beta fish!
Amazing they were found by a person willing & eager to help them & set them up with a good environment. Loved seeing them pick out shells they liked!
The greatest, most noble and sacred deed one cam do is helping other living beings through Kindness, Compassion, Generosity and Respect. God bless this angelic woman.

This hit different, loved every second of it!
So happy the universe put them in your path💕🙏💕

Crabitat is a great word.
It's perfectly cromulent.

I had 3 of them back in 80s and early 90s . They were the best pets I had .

A "shell shop". Wonderful!
Alot of people think what they see and sell at these stores on boardwalk is all you need. Completely wrong. It's the opposite of what they really need. Do your research.
Thank you. I'll be watching for more information. We need more people like you. GOOD JOB!😊❤
So beautiful, thank you for saving them. The amount of casual cruelty that some people inflict on other sentient beings hurts my heart but knowing there are kind people like the woman in this video also gives hope for humanity...
I can’t believe that someone would just leave them on the side of the road.
The world is, unfortunately, filled with horrible people who would do this...and worse 😢
Thank you for being kind and helping these innocent animals.
Omg, that was so cool to watch. Can’t wait for the next one.
They are hideously cute. Thanks for helping such little things!
"crabitat" :-) I like that!
That is so cool! I loved learning about these cute little critters, and now I want some! Thank you for sharing!

Oh my god have you seen their cute eyes ? 🥰

A friend of mine has hermit crabs that she has been caring for over a decade now! I’ve learned a lot about them and what they need to thrive from her.
They are fascinating. These kind of videos are so important to educate everyone

What a cool woman. God bless her for saving God's creations. And doing it with so much joy, thought, expense and commitment. ❤
I discovered with this video that painted shells are a thing... Sometimes I'm really amazed by human idiocy.
Is her name really Ariel? If so, that’s awesome ❤❤❤
They deserve to be respected as much as every thing in this world thank-you ❤

Always thought they lived in the water, at least partly. I didn't know you can keep them as pets. 😊
They lay their eggs in the water and grow up there, and then some species come on land full time after that. A bit like toads. Some stay on the shore and go back and forth.

I found the Spider-Man shell impressive 😢 too bad it’s toxic…
Well, that’s something I didn’t know was a thing. Good for you, and good for those crabs.
