Congrats to India ! But bear in mind that China has 6 former and current Women World Champions that did not play and could have made the GOAT line up in Olympiad history: Ju Wenjun, Tan Zhongyi, Hou Yifan, Xu Yuhua, Zhu Chen, Xie Jun. Together they have won 16 women world championships titles. Imagine China coming to the 2024 Olympiad with the following line up comprising all their 6 women world champions: Board#1: Hou Yifan (4 times world champion) Board#2 : Ju Wenjun (4-5 times) Board#3: Tan Zhongyi (1-2 times) Board#4: Xie Jun (2 times) Reserves: Xu Yuhua, Zhu Chen.
@@elimlinrr6898 definitely an intriguing scenario... it's just such a shame that China doesn't show anywhere near as much national support for chess as India does, otherwise I could totally see this matchup happening!

did Wesley So said US would have won Gold easily with Hikaru in the team? does he thinks Indian players came here for picnic? their top rated player Caruana lost to Gukesh, and this indian team would have steamrolled any team in this olympiad..with Hikaru in the team they would have still lost..its a team game, Hikaru alone cant do anything just like Carlsen could not help Norway
If hikaru plays in wesley's spot or ray's that doesn't stop india to win this time..Maybe it's going to be tiebreak maximum.. It's just like if arjun didn't blunder in a critical position against uzbek team india will get a perfect score 22/22 and arjun also becomes 2800+ .. there are lot of ifs and buts always will be there.. With same team usa didn't get a single medal in 2022..it's about luck at the end of the day.. One mistake threw india from 1st spot in 2022 and this time they are lucky.. Previous year uzbek was lucky.. That's all

Divya definitely played a huge role in the Women's team getting gold... what a performance from Team India!
And Vantika
We got gold in 3rd and 4th board so Vantika too helped big time😊
Correct

That Indian team is ridiculously overpowered. Someone nerf them

Gukesh A, Gukesh B and Gukesh C are yet to make the entry. India is hiding their best.
Will come out in the next bug patches :)))

If they bring Hikaru, we bring Vishy Anand...
Even Hikaru has said that this statement from Wesley So doesn't make sense
Exactly gukesh was playing above 3000
India won by more then 4 points
Hikaru was there last olympiad
Naah vidit would be enough 💀
Vidit will be laughing
