I was about 9 years old when I first heard about Englebert and my aunt had pretty much all of his albums. Whenever my parents went to visit her I'd borrow the records from her. At almost 88 years old he still sounds wonderful
My grandma is in hospital right now because of Covid and kidney failure, she’s 96 years old and I grew up listening to this songs with her. She only have her caregiver with her right now because of hospital restrictions. I sent her this video hoping she’ll find happiness and strength to survive her sickness. She’s very old but her admiration to Engelbert is one of her secrets for having a long and happy life. Thank you for your music!

I am listening to this concert on July4 2023 rather than watching the fireworks in Allen Park MI Sir Englebert is more exciting than any fireworks display. None of today’s talent is no match to Engleberts talent even at 86 years old Long live the King of Romance!!!!!
Some of the song was my Dad’s favourite, he was always listening to it every morning or evening, he would be the same age as him if he were still alive, so this bring back all my memories about my Dad.
My generation is blessed to grow old with Englebert .... From radio days we have come along long way ....& now RUclips has filled our Twilight years with joy !!! His songs ,his voice ,his style are all part of our being . Cant think of a " world without you " Engle !!! ❤️

I'm 68 but this 70s compilation has made me feel like a 20 year old again! I can't help but bop around to the beat! So many of these songs take me back to particular places and the people I was with at that time. Better than any blood pressure pills or statins!

In his prime, not only could Englebert sing like few others, he had an incredible knack of recognizing great, obscure songs, bringing to life so many wonderful songs that otherwise would have been lost in the fray. He also had the knack of finding the very best orchestras to back him up. Now in his late 70's, his passion and love for music still shines through big time. Englebert, I give you my profound thanks for all the great memories and you continue to surprise me. You are one of the very few who had me singing along with some of your songs even though I am not much of a singer.

I'm a professional musician and singer now playing mostly Jazz but am always called on to do your songs. Василий,горько от того ,что наши артисты,типа Киркорова, Баскова имея хорошие внешние и вокальные данные стали скоморохами ,шутами. Опошлили всё изгадили . Одно фиглярство во всём! Энгельберд, Демис Руссос ,ансамбь Абба ,наш Обоздинский Конечно же неподражаемый Магомаев да и много других будут почитаемы в веках. Какое уважиельное отношение к публике ,как тактичны .А что останется от наших фонограмщиков? Может я не права?
