@@TravelAgentHanoi Yes look forward to watching. Yes I’m still in VN , just south of Can Tho , beautiful area , side of a river and beautiful villages all around . Do my 1st visa run on the 17th May , head up to HCMC for a few days then do the visa run to Moc Bai , should take around 7 hours round trip from HCMC .
@@TravelAgentHanoi Yes , got it through yesterday so that’s all sorted , just a bit annoyed still have to get a 30 day visa for Cambodia and pay $35 USD for a 1 hour stay
Ninh Binh is a great place to go to. Luckily I went Oct 2019. Mate don't forget your business cards 🤠. Another great vid, meal looked amazing, peace ✌️
Another good production Simon. I wont complain if that family restaurant is part of our itinerary but if that was a half portion I think I need to up my dieting in the next 10 days.
Opening drone shot was absolutely stunning mate. Great job!!! Also good to see some foreigners around the place. Goat looked proper lush, too. Beef, chicken, goat, pork...no dog though
I was here a month ago. Ninh Binh food is not that good unless it is next to Tam Coc. Personally, lots of people talk about Trang An but I personally like Tam Coc better because on the day that I went, virtually no one was there. I had the entire rice field and river to myself. No video can ever capture the serenity of Tam Coc but your video has done wonders. If you go to Tam Coc, you might as well also go to the bird sanctuary. Across from Tam Coc admission, there is a super delicious restaurant. Let me know when you want to meet up Simon because I want to donate to your channel at some point as I have promised.
Hello mate, yeah I would say some restaurants offer bland food in Tam Coc but the goat meat I had was very good. there was also BBQ places which were very good. I will be going more often to check out the whole area including Thung Nham, I only live an hour away. I would try more restaurants, maybe find the best...but that is not a good return from this channel. Business first...info later. 😂 Are you still in Vietnam? Instead of donating to the channel, maybe donate to my marathon charity walk I will be doing in October? bit.ly/HanoiTravelMarathonWalk2022 All donations will go to the worthwhile charity Blue Dragon Childrens Foundation! Thanks mate
@@TravelAgentHanoi OK, I will make the donation to your marathon Simon. I had to rush home last week because of a family emergency, slept in Singapore airport for 10 hours due to last minute flight. It was so unfortunate, right when I landed in Saigon (from Hanoi), got texts from my family to come home immediately so I rushed from Domestic to International. Things are stabling out and I will be flying back to Hanoi soon because I need to finish two more cities in the North which I reached out to you the last week of April but you told me it was expensive during that time due to the holidays. The good news is that I don't have to worry about Travel Insurance unlike when I flew in March.
I accidentally discovered your video. I subscribed immediately to follow your adventures in my country. I am Vietnamese who lives in Canada 🇨🇦. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Have fun and enjoy your new experiences in Vietnam. Take care and stay safe.
Thank you. Glad you found out channel. You may also be interested in my Vietnam Village Life channel too, share that amongst your Vietnamese friends in Canada 😁 bit.ly/VietnamLifeYT Watch out for more Ninh Binh coming soon. Cheers
Hi Simon. Have you heard any rumours about when the 90 day visa is being reinstated. We are from the U k and used the 90 day visa a couple of years ago but all I can find at the moment is a 30 day visa. Keep up the good work with the video’s they’re much appreciated.
Best thing is to book a short break from hanoi with us which includes tour, accommodation and transport. www.travelagenthanoi.com/vietnam-overnight-tours/ 😉 www.vietnamdaytrip.com for day trips if only a trip is required. Cheers
Selfies?? No idea what you're talking about! I showed enough of the city to hopefully tempt people back, I'm not here to show everything, we are a travel agency afterall!! We want to bring people here for our business.

Thanks Peter, yeah, sometimes dishes are for sharing, but my wife's portions are bigger 😳 hence my need to cut down 😁
Definitely going to try that goat! And a few of the ‘home stays’ look rather intriguing too 😁 Can’t wait to visit!! Thanks so much Simon 🙏🏻
