I'm childfree and don't ever want to have children but I still love watching these vlogs. I had verbally abusive and neglectful parents growing up, and in a way watching you be such a wonderful and caring mother gives me almost a sense of... healing, in a weird way? Watching how much you love and care for your children is so amazing. Like I never imagined a parent could show such unconditional love and support for their kid. So even if I can't relate to a lot of the feelings you express, it's still really reassuring to see them. Both the good, and the bad.
I've been silently watching your videos for a little over 10 years now, with you first bringing me comfort as a young teen realizing they didn't believe in a god, and now bringing comfort as an adult trying to heal from the trauma of childhood. Thanks, Jaclyn.

Sending you sooooo much love. We are all still the child version of ourselves in so many ways. I hope my mom self can hug your child self (if that makes sense). Life is so hard and deeply complicated. I'm thankful I could help you in any way and just hope you find peace and happiness in life! It's my biggest hope for all of humanity to feel this. We all deserve it!

Hello from a fellow potty training momma. I have to say this has given me more helpful ideas for my son. He wants to potty train, but hasn’t fully gotten it yet. I don’t have any mom friends so this is super helpful. I understand ur struggle with emotions. Been trying to have a baby for two years with no luck because of my pcos. It’s amazing seeing the bond and love between Asher and Violet. I hope my son gets to have a sibling one day. He’s been asking. And before anyone asks I have lost 23lbs and have been praying for a miracle. He would be an amazing big brother.

Hi! I hope potty training is going well for you! It seems to be working really well for us so far. He caught on to it pretty fast (but is also 3).
Side note - finding mom friends is HARD. We're all so busy and want that connection, but it's like impossible to find the time lol. Life!
Good luck on your journey. No matter what, your son is lucky to have YOU

You can get thru this. You're a strong mom! It's rough but it's temporary. I've been thru it myself when my kiddos were little
Stay positive and definitely don't be afraid to vent.

Thats how I potty trained my son. He's autistic and I don't think he could tell the difference between his nappy and underwear, he would just go in them and got confused why his legs were getting wet lol So we let him walk around the house with nothing on and put him on the potty every 15 minutes, trying to get him to understand that's where his wee goes now. It actually worked 😊

You’re a great mom! Don’t doubt that…ever! You can see it when your children look at you. You can hear it in their laughter. I get it though. When you’re in the trenches it’s hard. HARD! Vent and cry when you need to. Everyone else can adjust. Mothers have so few outlets for their emotions, frustrations, fears, you name it, so do what keeps you sane. David’s random commentary on the potty training progress had me giggling like a loon! I’ve been there. Boys, am I right?? 🙄😂

aw thank you. I have SO many doubts, like all the time.... but that seems fairly common haha. Thank you for being so sweet and understanding! It's definitely hard to find outlets sometimes, but helps so much when I can a little here. And yes, boys are a rollercoaster haha. So crazy, but so fun!

I wish I lived close enough to babysit for you! I used to work in daycares, I've had background checks, clearance, and was certified to work in Sunday schools. I also have adult, child, and infant CPR training and first aid. Plus, I've been a Mom for over 25 years now.
I wish I could give you a big hug and tell you, "You're doing an excellent job, sweetheart!" I'd love to come in and watch the kids while you get some work done, then take a nap while I start dinner for you. Jaclyn, just because there are other moms who have it harder. That does NOT negate when you're feeling overwhelmed by things! I hope you bring someone in to help. You're NOT being a baby! You're still post partum. I know you're aware that some cultures have the grandmother or aunt stay in the mother's home for the baby's entire first year, or more. You deserve to bring in help too! Hormones have a nasty way of giving the negative voices in our head a megaphone. You need to tell that negative voice to STFU! Because it LIES to you. If the house is a mess and all you've done is spend time with the kids, but they're fed? You're STILL doing amazing!
Much love and hugs from Northern Alberta!🫂🫂🫂💕💕💕

I REALLY need this vlog tonight. It was a lonely day as a SAHM with my 14 mo old. Love her to pieces, but im so sad. Needed the reminder that these are normal waves of emotions.

Jaclyn, Asher needs time to himself. He gets to learn how to "Asher" on hHe's fine. Violet the pretty should get a moment with Mommy. He gets to make friends his age and grow with them. Babe I wish I could say you are overthinking it. You will get back to your logical smart self. Also you are a great mom.

I know it sounds weird but what helped with potty training with my boys was I would put pepper in the toilet and said it was ants and they thought it was funny and they loved peeing in the toilet. Pooping was so difficult though. You'll get through it.

Never thought of such dilemma before, intriguing...
To give special attentions to the second baby at the cost of attentions to the first baby...
    Equality VS Equity, hmm...
